Gas main extensions. Persons desiring gas main extensions must pay all of the cost of making such extensions. All such extensions shall be installed either by municipal forces or by other forces working directly under the supervision of the city/town in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by an engineer registered with the State of Tennessee. Upon completion of such extensions and their approval by the city/town, such gas mains shall become the property of the city/town. The persons paying the cost of constructing such mains shall execute any written instruments requested by the city/town to provide evidence of the city's/town's title to such mains. In consideration of such mains being transferred to it, the city/town shall incorporate the mains as an integral part of the municipal gas system and shall furnish gas service therefrom in accordance with these rules and regulations.

Whenever the board of mayor and aldermen is of the opinion that it is to the best interest of the town and its inhabitants to construct a gas main extension without requiring strict compliance with the preceding section, such extension may be constructed upon such terms and conditions as shall be approved by the board of mayor and aldermen. The authority to make gas main extensions under the preceding section is permissive only andnothing contained therein shall be construed as requiring the town to make such extensions or to furnish service to any person or persons.   • Modifications and Rectifications to Coverage 1. A Party may make rectifications of a purely formal nature to its coverage under this Chapter, or minor amendments to its Schedules in Annex XVI, provided that it notifies the other Parties in writing and no Party objects in writing within 45 days from the receipt of the notification. A Party that makes such a rectification or minor amendment need not provide compensatory adjustments to the other Parties.

  • Contract Term Extension “Contract Term Extension” means an extension of the term of this contract, at the request of Purchaser, under this Subsection. This Subsection does not obligate Contracting Officer to grant Contract Term Extension. When such extension is made, Forest Service shall make an appraisal using standard Forest Service methods and appraisal data in effect 45 days prior to the original Termination Date. Bid Premium Rates shall be added to such appraised rates to establish Flat Rates or Tentative Rates for the extension period. In event rates so established would develop Current Contract Value immediately prior to such an extension that is less than Current Contract Value at that time, Flat Rates and Tentative Rates in effect immediately prior to extension shall be retained for the extension period. In consideration for granting an extension, Purchaser shall pay the Government for Purchaser’s failure to cut and remove timber meeting Utilization Standards prior to Contract Term Extension, an amount that shall be the total of the costs to the Government resulting from the delay in harvest of Included Timber. Such costs will be determined by Forest Service and shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Territorial Extension At the time of signature of this Agreement, or at any time thereafter, the provisions of this Agreement may be extended to such territories for whose international relations the Government of the United Kingdom are responsible as may be agreed between the Contracting Parties in an Exchange of Notes.

  • Term of Agreement and Renewals The Agreement with TIPS is for approximately three (3) years with an option for renewal for an additional one

  • Time Extensions 2.03.1 If Contractor requests an extension of time to complete its performance, then the Director, in consultation with the CPO, may, in his or her sole discretion, extend the time so long as the extension does not exceed 90 days. The extension must be in writing but does not require amendment of this Agreement. Contractor is not entitled to damages for delay(s) regardless of the cause of the delay(s).

  • CONTRACT PERIOD AND RENEWALS The Contract(s) shall be in effect for three (3) years, unless terminated in accordance with the contractual provisions. If mutually agreed between OGS and the Contractor, the Contract may be renewed under the same terms and conditions for up to two (2) additional one years. The Contract renewal may be exercised on a month to month basis such as an additional three month, six month, twelve month, or 24 month period.
