Four-Ten Work Week Exception. SOUTHEASTERN AND CENTRAL AREAS ONLY (not including XxXxxx or Xxxxxx counties) Four-Tens: During the term of this Agreement, an Employer may establish a scheduled four (4) ten (10) hour work days, Monday through Thursday, between the 1st Saturday of April and the last Saturday of October by mutual agreement with the Union. When a scheduled 4-10 hour work week is in use, any hours worked in excess of 10 hours in any one work day or on Friday shall be paid time and one-half (1-1/2). An additional ten (10) minute break shall be observed after the 10th hour, if work is to be continued. If a holiday recognized by this Agreement falls during a scheduled 4-10 hour work week, Friday may be used to facilitate the employee receiving a full 40 hour week. No employee may be penalized for refusal to work Friday under this provision. WESTERN AREA including XxXxxx and Xxxxxx Counties Four (4) ten (10) hour days, Monday through Thursday in the Western Area and XxXxxx and Xxxxxx counties is permitted, with Friday as a make-up day if time is lost due to inclement weather Monday through Thursday of a scheduled four 10 hour work week. If an employee declines to work Friday as a make-up day, that employee shall not be penalized.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.

  • Basic Work Week (a) The basic work week of an employee working full-time shall be thirty-seven (37) hours to be worked as scheduled by the Company as follows: - Four (4) shifts of eight (8) hours and one (1) shift of five (5) hours; or - Two (2) shifts of eight (8) hours and three (3) shifts of seven (7) hours.

  • Five Day Work Week Schedule When working under the five (5) day work week schedule, Employees shall receive one and one-half (1.5x) times their regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours of overtime Monday through Friday. All other overtime Monday through Friday shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • WORK CLOTHING 1. The State shall continue to furnish foul weather gear and work clothing, such as aprons, smocks, shop coats, lab coats, coveralls and boots to employees furnished such clothing in the past. The State shall be responsible for continuing to provide laundering of work clothing where such service is being provided as of the effective date of this Agreement.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Four Day Work Week 26 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 27 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 28 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.

  • Normal Work Week The normal work week shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 1/2) hours, and the normal daily hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours, exclusive of a meal period. The normal work week shall be Monday through Friday and the normal workday shall be scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
