Flexible Time Activities. Each regular faculty member will sign an agreement indicating the flexible activities and/or project and dates that he/she will perform to meet the flexible time requirement in 23.202. A copy of the agreement will be submitted to the immediate supervisor no later than November 1 for the fall semester and may be updated no later than March 1 for the spring semester. If a full-time faculty member elects to do an individual project, a time line including specific dates for the project completion and agreed upon documentation of the project will be included in the agreement. Activities may include specific in-service days and/or individual faculty projects as designated in 23.202 and may be completed anytime from July 1 through June 30 of a given year. Documentation of attendance on in-service days and of individual faculty projects must be completed no later than June 30 of a given year. Regular faculty not completing the flexible activities will be charged six hours of leave without pay for each full day for activities missed. Partial days will result in leave without pay in proportion to time missed.

A copy of the agreement will be submitted to the immediate supervisor no later than November 1 for the fall semester and may be updated no later than March 1 for the spring semester. If a full-time faculty member elects to do an individual project or external training, a time line including specific dates for the project completion and agreed upon documentation of the project will be submitted to the Professional Development System. Activities may include specific in-service days and/or individual faculty projects as designated in 23.2.2 and may be completed anytime from July 1 through June 30 of a given year. Documentation of attendance on in- service days and of individual faculty projects must be completed no later than June 30 of a given year. Regular faculty not completing the flexible activities can use appropriate leave for each full day of missed activities.   • BUY AMERICA ACT (National School Lunch Program and Breakfast Program With respect to products purchased by Customers for use in the National School Lunch Program and/or National School Breakfast Program, Contractor shall comply with all federal procurement laws and regulations with respect to such programs, including the Buy American provisions set forth in 7 C.F.R. Part 210.21(d), to the extent applicable. Contractor agrees to provide all certifications required by Customer regarding such programs. In the event Contractor or Contractor’s supplier(s) are unable or unwilling to certify compliance with the Buy American Provision, or the applicability of an exception to the Buy American provision, H-GAC Customers may decide not to purchase from Contractor. Additionally, H-GAC Customers may require country of origin on all products and invoices submitted for payment by Contractor, and Contractor agrees to comply with any such requirement.

  • Certified and Minority Business Enterprises Reports Upon Customer request, the Contractor shall report to the requesting Customer the Contractor’s spend with certified and other minority business enterprises in the provision of commodities or services related to the Customer’s orders. These reports shall include the period covered, the name, minority code, and Federal Employer Identification Number of each minority business utilized during the period; commodities and services provided by the minority business enterprise, and the amount paid to each minority business enterprise on behalf of the Customer.

  • Standing Down of Employees The company has the right to deduct payment for any day or part thereof upon which an employee cannot be usefully employed because of any strike, stoppage of work (other than approved inclement weather), breakdown in machinery or failure or lack of power for which cause the company is not responsible.

  • TECHNOLOGY/KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER ACTIVITIES The goal of this task is to develop a plan to make the knowledge gained, experimental results, and lessons learned available to the public and key decision makers. The Recipient shall: • Prepare an Initial Fact Sheet at start of the project that describes the project. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Final Project Fact Sheet at the project’s conclusion that discusses results. Use the format provided by the CAM. • Prepare a Technology/Knowledge Transfer Plan that includes: o An explanation of how the knowledge gained from the project will be made available to the public, including the targeted market sector and potential outreach to end users, utilities, regulatory agencies, and others.

  • STANDING DOWN EMPLOYEES The employer has the right to deduct payment for any day the employee cannot be usefully employed because of any strike or through any breakdown in machinery or any stoppage of work by any cause for which the employer cannot reasonably be held responsible.

  • CONCERTED ACTIVITIES 24.1 It is agreed and understood that there will be no strike, work stoppage, slow-down, or refusal or failure to fully and faithfully perform job functions and responsibilities, or other interference with the operations of the District by the Federation, or by any of the Federation's officers, agents, or members during the term of this Agreement, including compliance with the request of other labor organizations to engage in such activity.

  • Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Participation Pursuant to Education Code section 71028 and Public Contract Code section 10115, the District may have a participation goal for disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBEs) of at least three (3) percent per year of funds expended each year by the District on projects that use funds from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. This Project may use funds allocated under the Act. Therefore, to the extent feasible and pertaining to future hirings, the Consultant, before it executes the Agreement, shall provide to the District certification of compliance with the procedures for implementation of DVBE contracting goals, appropriate documentation identifying the amount(s) intended to be paid to DVBEs in conjunction with the contract, and documentation demonstrating the Consultant’s good faith efforts to meet these goals.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: - One-year certificate from an appropriate technical/military school or completion of trade apprenticeship; or three years verifiable experience in a related field. - Ability to read, write and speak English, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blue prints, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with building occupants and employees of OCCC. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. - Shall possess a valid Florida Driver’s license (or State issued ID) for the duration of employment in this position. - Willing to work in a team atmosphere and be willing to work alongside OCCC employees.
