The Flexible Clause Samples

The Flexible clause is designed to provide adaptability within an agreement, allowing certain terms or conditions to be modified as circumstances change. In practice, this clause may permit parties to adjust deadlines, deliverables, or other contractual obligations without requiring a formal amendment to the entire contract. Its core function is to introduce a mechanism for accommodating unforeseen events or evolving needs, thereby reducing the risk of breach and ensuring the contract remains relevant and workable over time.
The Flexible. Working Hours Scheme shall not apply to those employees: (i) engaged on shift work or a set roster; (ii) employed in a University Child Care Centre who are required to work their ordinary hours of duty within a specific span of hours to comply with licensing arrangements; (iii) appointed to a position at professional/general staff Level 9 and above; or (iv) who, because of operational requirements, have the times at which their ordinary hours of work are to be performed set by the Delegated Officer of their work unit.
The Flexible. Breaks Grants provide small cash grants not more than annually on application from individual carers. They do not substitute for sitting service (Take a Break) or other services that may be provided as a result of a Community Care Assessment.
