Enhanced Disability Awareness Training. REFERENCE (CLAUSE/PARAGRAPH/SCHEDULE) AMENDMENT 8.1 The Franchisee shall use all reasonable endeavours to deliver Enhanced Disability Awareness Training to as many Franchise Employees as reasonably practicable during the term of the XXXX, having regard to the time available to any Successor Operator to deliver the Enhanced Disability Awareness Training to any transferring employees who have not received the training ahead of 31 July 2021. If the XXXX is extended pursuant to clause 3.3 of the XXXX, with the effect that the Extended Term expires on or after 31 July 2021, then the Franchisee shall deliver Enhanced Disability Awareness Training to all Franchise Employees(excluding Franchise Employees appointed less than two months prior to the Expiry Date (as extended pursuant to clause 3.3 of the XXXX) if it is not reasonably practicable to deliver Enhanced Disability Awareness Training to such Franchise Employees) and ensure it delivers the Enhanced Disability Awareness Training to any Franchise Employees appointed following 31 July 2021. 8.2

  • Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL) - An employee is eligible for continuation of MPS in accordance with applicable law.

  • Pregnancy Disability Leave A. Leave for pregnancy or childbirth related disability is in addition to any leave granted under FMLA or WFLA.

  • Parental and Pregnancy Disability Leave A. Parental leave will be granted to the employee for the purpose of bonding with their newborn, adoptive or xxxxxx child. Parental leave may extend up to six (6) months, including time covered by the family medical leave, during the first year after the child's birth or placement. Leave beyond the period covered by family medical leave and pregnancy disability may only be denied by the Employer due to operational necessity. Such denial may be grieved beginning at the top internal step of the grievance procedure in Article 30.

  • Duty Disability (1) For Calendar Year 2018, 2019, and 2020 Depending on the individual's single/family enrollment status, the cost of coverage for individuals receiving a duty disability retirement allowance shall be as provided in subsection 3.a.(1) of this Article, above.

  • Leave for Pregnancy Disability 10.6.1 Unit members are entitled to use sick leave as set forth in Sections 10.2.1, 10.2.2, and 10.2.3 for disabilities caused or contributed to by pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth, and recovery therefrom on the same terms and conditions governing leaves of absence from other illness or medical disability. The length of such disability leave, including the date on which the leave shall commence and the date on which the duties are to be resumed, shall be determined by the unit member and the unit member's physician.

  • Extended Disability Leave a. Due to a medical disability, an employee shall be granted an extended leave of absence without pay (subject to Paragraph d hereof) if any one of the following conditions exists:

  • Personal Illness or Disability The bargaining unit member may use all or any portion of his leave to recover from his/her own illness or disability.

  • Illness or Disability If, because of Employee’s illness or other disability for a continuous period of more than 45 days, Employee is unable to render the services required by the Company as provided herein, the Company may terminate Employee’s employment hereunder by written notice to Employee at least 30 days in advance of such termination. Upon such termination Employee shall not be entitled to any further payments of any nature, except for payment of (a) any earned but unpaid Annual Base Salary, (b) any unpaid bonuses and (c) unreimbursed business expenses (collectively, “Payable Amounts”).   • Long Term Disability The Employer agrees to provide Long Term Disability benefits for active full-time employees after fifty-two (52) weeks if an Employee is unable to perform any occupation (reasonably suited by means of training, education or experience). The Plan will provide for sixty-six and two thirds percent (66 2/3%) of an Employee's basic monthly earnings to a maximum of $1,500.00. Coverage would cease the date an Employee attains normal retirement age.
