Employment of Spouses and Dependants. For natural persons of a Party who have been granted the right to long term temporary entry and have been allowed to bring in their spouses or dependants, a Party shall, upon application, grant the accompanying spouses or dependants of the other Party the right to work as managers, executives or specialists (as defined in paragraphs 2(f)(i) to (iii) of Article 9.2), subject to its relevant licensing, administrative and registration requirements. Such spouses or dependants can apply independently in their own capacity (and not necessarily as accompanying spouses or dependants) and shall not be barred by the Party granting them the right to work from taking up employment in a category other than that of managers, executives, or specialists solely on the ground that they as the accompanying spouses or dependants are already employed in its territory as managers, executives or specialists.

Employment of Spouses and Dependants. For natural persons who have been granted the right to long-term temporary entry and who have been allowed to bring in their spouses or dependants, a Party shall, upon application, grant the accompanying spouses or dependants the right to work as managers, executives or specialists (as defined in Article 2.2(c)(i)-(iii)), or as office administrators in its territory, subject to the relevant licensing, administrative and registration requirements of the granting Party.
Employment of Spouses and Dependants. For natural persons of either Party who have been granted the right to temporaryentry under this Chapter as contractual service suppliers, independent executives or intra-corporate transferees and who have a spouse and dependant, a Party shall, upon application, grant the accompanying spouse or dependant who otherwise meets its criteria for the grant of an immigration formality the right of temporary entry, movement and work for an equal period to that granted to the natural person. For greater certainty, grant of temporary entry and work under this Article is subject to the accompanying spouse or dependant meeting the granting Party's prescribed application procedures and requirements for the relevant immigration formality and meet all relevant eligibility requirements for temporary entry and work or extension of temporary stay and work.
Employment of Spouses and Dependants. Each Party shall grant temporary entry and provide a work permit or authorisation to a spouse and a dependant of a intra-corporate transferee, contractual service supplier or independent professional qualifying for temporary entry, if the spouse or the dependant otherwise complies with immigration measures applicable to temporary entry and meets the relevant employment qualifications.

  • Spouse The spouse of an eligible employee (if legally married under Minnesota law). For the purposes of health insurance coverage, if that spouse works full-time for an organization employing more than one hundred (100) people and elects to receive either credits or cash (1) in place of health insurance or health coverage or (2) in addition to a health plan with a seven hundred and fifty dollar ($750) or greater deductible through his/her employing organization, he/she is not eligible to be a covered dependent for the purposes of this Article. If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State's Group Insurance Program, neither spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other, unless one spouse is not eligible for a full Employer Contribution as defined in Section 3A. Effective January 1, 2015 if both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, a spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other.

  • Survivor Benefits 1. A surviving dependent of a retiree who was eligible to receive a Retiree Medical Grant, as stated above in A through C, and who qualifies for a monthly allowance shall be eligible for fifty (50) percent of the Grant authorized for the retiree.

  • Post-Retirement Employment Unit members who retire from the University during the term of this Agreement may propose a post-retirement appointment of up to three years duration. During this post-retirement appointment, the total of retirement benefits and post-retirement salary paid by the University shall not exceed the salary paid at the time of retirement. The annual compensation received from the University for the post-retirement appointment shall not exceed fifty (50) percent of the annual salary at the time of retirement. The duties for a post-retirement appointment shall be defined and agreed to in writing by the bargaining unit member and the Employer/University Administration prior to the bargaining unit member's retirement. Such appointments are at the discretion of the Employer/University Administration and are subject to existing law and all rules and regulations of the State Retirement Board. The decision of the Employer/University Administration not to approve a proposal for a post-retirement appointment shall not be grievable under the Grievance and Arbitration Procedure, Article 7.

  • Long Term Disability Benefit In the event an employee, while covered under this plan, becomes totally disabled as a result of an accident or a sickness, then, after the employee has been totally disabled for seven (7) months, including periods approved in Section 1.3(a) and (c), he/she shall be eligible to receive a monthly benefit as follows:

  • Re-employment After Retirement Employees who have reached retirement age as prescribed under the Pension (Municipal) Act and continue in the Employer's service, or are re-engaged within three (3) calendar months of retirement, shall continue at their former increment step in the pay rate structure of the classification in which they are employed, and the employee's previous anniversary date shall be maintained. All perquisites earned up to the date of retirement shall be continued or reinstated.

  • ’ Compensation Insurance and Disability Benefits Requirements Sections 57 and 220 of the New York State Workers’ Compensation Law require the heads of all municipal and state entities to ensure that businesses applying for contracts have appropriate workers’ compensation and disability benefits insurance coverage. These requirements apply to both original contracts and renewals. Failure to provide proper proof of such coverage or a legal exemption will result in a rejection of any contract renewal. Proof of workers’ compensation and disability benefits coverage, or proof of exemption must be submitted to OGS at the time of policy renewal, contract renewal and upon request. Proof of compliance must be submitted on one of the following forms designated by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. An XXXXX form is not acceptable proof of New York State workers’ compensation or disability benefits insurance coverage. Proof of Compliance with Workers’ Compensation Coverage Requirements:
