Drug and Alcohol Screening Program. All peace officers within the unit shall be subject to the use of random drug and alcohol screening pursuant to the testing procedures detailed in Department of Human Resources Policy and Procedures Manual Policy No. 1106 dated January 1, 1995 entitled "Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991" except that for purposes of random selection, sixty percent (60%) of the eligible pool shall be subject to random drug screening, and, twenty percent (20%) of the eligible pool shall be subject to random alcohol screening. All Peace Officers within the Bargaining Unit shall be required to submit to a drug and alcohol screening at the direction of management when reasonable suspicion exists that the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In accordance with County and department policy, reasonable suspicion shall be established by the concurrence of two (2) or more trained management staff. Testing shall be authorized by the Chief Probation Officer or the division DCPO or his or her authorized delegate.

Drug and Alcohol Screening Program. Attached hereto as Exhibit “D” is a copy of Consultant’s drug and alcohol screening program for its personnel, which program must be implemented by Consultant through the Term, and updated as required by PGW and/or applicable law.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING Employees may be tested for drugs and/or alcohol pursuant to the provisions of the Employer's Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy which is attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement as if more fully set forth herein.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.

  • DRUG/ALCOHOL TESTING 11.1 The parties agree that the maintenance of a drug/alcohol free work place is a goal of both the College and the Union. Employees are prohibited from possession, consumption and/or being under the influence of a controlled substance/alcohol while on the College’s premises or during time paid by the employer. Violations of this prohibition may result in a disciplinary action up to and including termination.

  • DRUG AND ALCOHOL FREE WORKPLACE 20.1 All employees must report to work in a condition fit to perform their assigned duties unimpaired by alcohol or drugs.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Random Drug Testing All employees covered by this Agreement shall be subject to random drug testing in accordance with Appendix D.
