Disciplinary Actions in Emergency Situations. Under emergency circumstances, where the health and safety of co-workers or the public is threatened, an employee may be immediately disciplined without prior notice and hearing. In such a case, the affected employee’s supervisor shall promptly document the circumstances which justified the immediate disciplinary action.
