Description of the test Sample Clauses

Description of the test. Use an adhesive tape with a force adhesion of 2 N/(cm of width) ± 20 per cent measured under the standardized conditions specified in Appendix 4 to this annex. This adhesive tape, which shall be at least 25 mm wide, shall be pressed for at least five minutes to the surface prepared as prescribed in paragraph 2.5.1. Then the end of the adhesive tape shall be loaded in such a way that the force of adhesion to the surface considered is balanced by a force perpendicular to that surface. At this stage, the tape shall be torn off at a constant speed of 1.5 m/s ± 0.2 m/s.

Description of the test. 6.1.3.2.2.1.1. The procedure used to clamp the mirror to the support shall be that recommended by the manufacturer of the device or, where appropriate, by the vehicle manufacturer.
Description of the test procedure—(i) Preparation—(A) Preparation of test solu- tions. (1) Solutions should be prepared by accurately weighing an appropriate amount of the purest form of the test substance available. This should be made up in a concentration which will result in at least one absorbance max- imum in the range 0.5 to 1.5 units.
Description of the test. 8.2.2.1. The procedure used to clamp the rear-view mirror to the support shall be that recommended by the manufacturer of the device, or, where appropriate, by the vehicle manufacturer.
Description of the test. 6.3.2.2.1. The procedure used to clamp the device for indirect vision to the support shall be that recommended by the manufacturer of the device or, where appropriate, by the vehicle manufacturer.
Description of the test setup A detailed description of the used test equipment and setup, including sensors type and location and specific devices (for example, heating/cooling and humidification sub-systems), has to be presented to aid understanding the test results. A graphical representation may be added here. Table 8: List of sensors for test setup Sensor name Sensor type Sensor location … … …
Description of the test. The test will require the officer to complete several specified physical tasks in a given sequence within an allotted time frame. An orientation is conducted prior to testing. To simulate a police officer on duty, officers will be provided with and will be required to wear police equipment during the physical testing session. This includes items such as a utility belt, handcuffs, a non-firing pistol in a holster, two magazine pouches containing two magazines and a ballistic vest. Officers are required to bring their own equipment. Applicants will be provided this equipment by the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety at the time of testing.

Description of the test flow for the testing of the BOL parameters (only white blocks) and of the EOL parameters (full sequence of white and coloured blocks). The BOL and EOL test flow are outlined in Figure 1. Concerning the EOL test, for each of the three sub-groups of cells the test flow will be carried out as follows: electrical performances will be measured before and after irradiation as well as after annealing. By comparing the results, the losses due to irradiation and solar cells recovering after annealing will be evaluated.
Description of the test. Use an adhesive tape with a force adhesion of 2 N/(cm of width) ± 20 per cent measured under the standardized conditions specified in Appendix 4 to this annex. This adhesive tape, which shall be at least 25 mm wide, shall be pressed for at least
Description of the test. 8.3.1.1. The protective housing shall be placed horizontally in a device in such a way that the adjustment parts of the mounting can be clamped securely. In the direction of the greatest dimension of the protective housing, the end nearest the point of fixing on the adjustment part shall be immobilized by means of a fixed stop 15/mm wide, covering the entire width of the protective housing.
