DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES (ACTIVITIES SHALL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO). Consultant shall assist the County and Permittees (cities) in maintaining ongoing compliance under municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) permits adopted for watersheds draining areas of Orange County, statewide general stormwater permits for construction and industrial activities, and other policies and permits regulating stormwater and non-stormwater runoff. The specific services desired are: • Develop innovative and cost-effective programs for water quality protection and regulatory compliance; • Deliver training to enhance the skills and competencies of individuals with stormwater management and protection responsibilities supporting all elements of the implementation activities outlined in watershed management, water quality improvement, and other implementation plans; • Create robust auditable management systems to enable ongoing compliance with MS4 permits, including but not limited to policy and program documentation, activity scheduling, and reporting mechanisms; • Undertake analyses using GIS, modeling and statistical approaches to evaluate BMP performance and BMP retrofitting opportunities at site, sub-watershed and watershed scales; • Create CEQA documentation for watershed management, water quality improvement, and other implementation plans; • Respond to regulatory initiatives through timely review and preparation of comments and crafting of alternative compliance approaches supportive of the interests of the Permittees; • Prepare presentations, documents, reports, and meetings appropriate for a diverse range of audiences (including elected officials, executive management, representatives of industry and commerce and the general public) at which programmatic initiatives are reviewed. • Statewide trash policy compliance support and assistance, including monitoring; • Industrial General Stormwater Permit compliance support and assistance, including monitoring; • Construction General Stormwater Permit compliance support and assistance, including monitoring; • Groundwater and de minimis discharge compliance support and assistance, including monitoring; Attachment B Cost/Compensation

  • Description of Services (a) Services Provided on an Ongoing Basis, If Applicable.

  • Continuity of Services A. The Contractor recognizes that the service(s) to be performed under this Contract are vital to the State and must be continued without interruption and that, upon Contract expiration, a successor, either the State or another contractor, may continue them. The Contractor agrees to:

  • COMMERCIAL REUSE OF SERVICES The member or user herein agrees not to replicate, duplicate, copy, trade, sell, resell nor exploit for any commercial reason any part, use of, or access to 's sites.

  • Outpatient emergency and urgicenter services within the service area The emergency room copay applies to all outpatient emergency visits that do not result in hospital admission within twenty-four (24) hours. The urgicenter copay is the same as the primary care clinic office visit copay.

  • General Description of Services The A-E will be contacted by COUNTY Project Management staff on an “as-needed” basis as projects arise to provide A-E for professional services. Requirements will be discussed by both Parties and A-E shall prepare a written Scope Statement that will include the specific work to be performed, including the costs and time required to complete the project/task. Orange COUNTY Project Management staff will then review the A-E’s Scope Statement, proceed with negotiation of task costs and when satisfied, issue a Contract Task Order (CTO) against this CONTRACT. The A-E shall serve as lead of a design team that may include other construction design professionals working together to ensure that the original design is carried through to the finished product, with no alterations in materials or design that would lead to safety issues or compromise the quality of the building or building component. Other team members who may be retained by the lead to support a project as a consultant may include but are not limited to landscape architects, lighting designers, data consultants, security consultants, controls engineers, commissioning consultants, traffic engineers, surveyors, estimators, special inspection, etc. The A-E shall be responsible for the preparation of comprehensive building assessments, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and reports within the scope of the Contract Task Order (CTO). In the preparation of construction drawings and specification, the A-E shall also responsible for:

  • Scope of Services The specific scope of work for each job shall be determined in advance and in writing between TIPS Member, Member’s design professionals and Vendor. It is permitted for the TIPS Member to provide a general scope description, but the awarded vendor should provide a written scope of work, and if applicable, according to the TIPS Member’s design Professional as part of the proposal. Once the scope of the job is agreed to, the TIPS Member will issue a PO and/or an Agreement or Contract with the Job Order Contract Proposal referenced or as an attachment along with bond and any other special provisions agreed by the TIPS Member. If special terms and conditions other than those covered within this solicitation and awarded Agreements are required, they will be attached to the PO and/or an Agreement or Contract and shall take precedence over those in this base TIPS Vendor Agreement.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation. This shall not be applicable to firms and/or individuals providing responses to a publicly posted Request for Information (RFI) associated with a solicitation.

  • General Background Ecuador is part of the United Nations Convention of 1951 relating to the Status of Refugees and its 1967 Protocol, as well as major international and regional human rights instruments that recognize the right to asylum. It is also part of the United Nations Convention of 1954 relating to the Status of Stateless Persons and the United Nations Convention of 1961 on the Reduction of Statelessness. The asylum procedure in Ecuador is regulated by the Organic Law of Human Mobility, effective February 6, 2017. Ecuador is a country of transit and destination for people who need international protection. In the last two decades, Ecuador hosted more than 68,708 recognized refugees (mainly Colombian) and has become one of the leading countries of transit and destination for Venezuelan refugees and migrants. Ecuador receives the third highest number of Venezuelans after Colombia and Peru. Since 2016, more than 4.7 million Venezuelans have left their country, making it the biggest exodus in the history of Latin America. Of these, 2.2 million have entered Ecuador, of which estimated 500,000 have been established in the country according to the R4V. In 2019, approximately 2,100 Venezuelans per day entered Ecuador (with peaks of 6,000) until 26 August, when Ecuador began requiring visas for Venezuelans. Since 2018, the number of Venezuelan asylum seekers exceeded the number of asylum seekers from Colombia. The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees works in Ecuador supporting the Ecuadorian government to protect refugees and looking for durable solutions. UNHCR's operation in Ecuador began in 2000 as part of the strategy of the organization to protect and provide assistance, particularly to the victims of the Colombian conflict. The Ecuadorian 2023-2025 Multiyear Strategy aims to support the Government of Ecuador to: (i) the development of protection mechanisms, (ii) strengthening national asylum system, (iii) and identification of durable solutions, including alternative pathways. The operation is coordinated at the national level by the country office in Quito. In addition, UNHCR has Sub- Offices in Quito (Solanda), Xxxxxx and Guayaquil; Field Offices in Esmeraldas, Huaquillas, Tulcán, Lago Agrio, and Field Units in Manta, Cuenca and Ambato.

  • Governance and Anticorruption 14. The Borrower, the Project Executing Agency, and the implementing agencies shall (a) comply with ADB’s Anticorruption Policy (1998, as amended to date) and acknowledge that ADB reserves the right to investigate directly, or through its agents, any alleged corrupt, fraudulent, collusive or coercive practice relating to the Project; and

  • Transition of Services Upon request by the State prior to expiration or earlier termination of this Contract or any Services provided in this Contract, Contractor shall provide reasonable and necessary assistance to accomplish a complete transition of the Services from Contractor to the State or any replacement provider designated solely by the State without any interruption of or adverse impact on the Services. Contractor shall cooperate fully with the State or any successor provider and shall promptly take all steps required to assist in effecting a complete transition of the Services designated by the State. All services related to such transition shall be performed at no additional cost beyond what would be paid for the Services in this Contract.
