Definition of High Risk Activities. 6.11.1.1. Because of concerns about the risk to student safety, the after school program coordinator shall not permit the following activities on campus or during AGENCY sponsored after school or summer program trips, events and activities unless the activity is properly supervised, students wear protective gear as appropriate, and each participant has insurance coverage:  Amusement Parks  Interscholastic Athletic Activities  Bicycle riding  Circus Arts  Hiking (Moderate to rigorous terrain or length) vs short nature “walks”  Hang gliding  Horseback riding  Ice Skating  In-line or Roller Skating  Rock climbing, climbing walls  Skateboarding or use of non-motorized scooters  Snow sports of any kind  Trampoline; Jumpers  Motorcycling  Rodeo  Target ShootingWater Activities including but not limited to: swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, boating, kayaking, river rafting, water slides, water skiing etc.  Outdoor active, experiential programs (Ropes course, pulley, etc.)  Other activities determined by the school principal to have a high risk to student safety
