Athletic Activities definition

Athletic Activities includes but is not limited to contact and non-contact sports, fitness activities, personal training instruction and activities, use of facilities, and fitness programs and services provided to the Minor by the Organization.

The Home and School Association manages almost all of the fundraising needs for Dunrae Gardens' activities, as well as the running of a wide range of extra-curricular activities offered afterschool through its popular ECA. Also, the Home and School Association contributes with graduation (karaoke event, ice-cream party) and provides needed materials and equipment for our classrooms and school. An integral part of Dunrae Gardens' community comes from the positive involvement and ongoing support of our parent volunteers. Dunrae Gardens’ parents also exercise their right to participate in school governance in the Dunrae Gardens’ Governing Board, PPO, Regional Parents’ Committee and Central Parents’ Committee. We continue to encourage parent participation and volunteers who offer their time to build on our school's success. Volunteer activities range from helping in the classrooms, helping out in the school library, helping supervise students during field trips, driving students to and from GMAA activities, baking for events and meetings, organizing Book Fairs & Book Sales, organizing Back-to-School Fun Fair, contributing to Olympic day, helping during ECA, etc.
Athletic Activities includes but is not limited to all activities directly or indirectly related to kayaking (including but not limited to the loading or unloading of kayaking equipment, use in or out of water of kayaking equipment and related activities, planning, instruction, guiding or advising), contact and non-contact sports, fitness activities, personal training instruction and activities, use of facilities, programs and services provided to the Participant by or on behalf of the Organization.

Related to Athletic Activities

  • Intrascholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete with students from within the same school.

  • Interscholastic Activities means athletic or non-athletic/academic activities where students compete on a school vs. school basis.

  • Economic activities shall in principle include activities of an industrial, commercial and professional character and activities of craftsmen;

  • High Risk Activities means uses such as the operation of nuclear facilities, air traffic control, or life support systems, where the use or failure of the Services could lead to death, personal injury, or environmental damage.

  • Extracurricular activities means: a voluntary activity sponsored by the school or local education agency or an organization sanctioned by the local education agency. Extracurricular activities include, but are not limited to, preparation for and involvement in public performances, contests, athletic competitions, demonstrations, displays, and club activities.

  • Motorsport Activities means any motorsport activities or Recreational Services which are permitted or approved which Motorsport Australia regulates or administers or otherwise are under the responsibility / control of Motorsport Australia;

  • Motor Sport Activities means any motor sport activities or Recreational Services which are permitted or approved which CAMS regulates or administers by CAMS or otherwise under the responsibility / control of CAMS;

  • Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.

  • School activities means any activity sponsored by the school including, but not limited to, classroom work, library activities, physical education classes, official assemblies and other similar gatherings, school athletic contests, band concerts, school plays and other theatrical productions, and in-school lunch periods.
