Common use of Complaint Procedure Clause in Contracts

Complaint Procedure. Complaints against any employee shall be handled through the established chain of command whenever possible. The complaint shall be referred first to the employee; if unresolved, then to the employee’s supervisor. Except in the case of alleged criminal activity, if the complainant refuses to contact the employee, the person receiving the complaint shall inform the employee of the complaint within a reasonable amount of time. Anonymous complaints/reports shall not serve as the basis of any personnel decisions.
