Classification Structures / Levels. This Enterprise Agreement provides for the following plant maintenance classification structures: Classification Levels EW EW1 to EW7 MW MW1 to MW6 Employees will be classified into one of the above classification structures at a level, which is compatible to the Company’s needs provided the employee has the appropriate qualifications. Notwithstanding anything else contained within this Enterprise Agreement, employees will be required to carry out such duties as are within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training, including work that is incidental or peripheral to the employee’s main function.

  • Classification Structure All employees working under this Agreement shall be classified according to the skill based classification structure set out in Appendix A.

  • Classification Changes When the University determines that a revision of a class specification for positions covered by this agreement is needed, and such revision affects the collective bargaining unit designation, the University shall notify AFSCME in writing of the proposed change. AFSCME shall notify the University, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the proposed changes, of any comments it has concerning the proposed changes or of its desire to discuss the proposed changes.

  • CHANGE IN CLASSIFICATION SPECIFICATIONS Section 1. The Employer shall notify the Union of intended classification studies.

  • New Job Classifications 11.1 Whenever the Company determines it appropriate to create a new job classification in the bargaining unit, it shall proceed as follows.

  • Classification Specifications The Employer agrees to supply the President of the Union or his/her designate with the classification specifications for those classifications in the Bargaining Unit.

  • New Classifications If a new classification is created within the bargaining unit, the Employer agrees to meet with the Union and negotiate a rate of pay for this new classification. If the parties cannot reach agreement, at the request of either party, the matter shall be submitted to the arbitration procedure in Article 26 of this Agreement.

  • Classification Plan (a) The Employer and the Union recognize the need to maintain the principles of Pay Equity to evaluate jobs in the Public Service bargaining unit. The parties also agree to apply the Public Service Job Evaluation Plan in accordance with those principles to all bargaining unit positions using the gender neutral plan factors and degrees in the Public Service Job Evaluation Plan. The Public Service Job Evaluation Plan will be used to evaluate positions in the Main Agreement and to determine their appropriate factor ratings.

  • Demographic, Classification and Wage Information XXXXXX agrees to coordinate the accumulation and distribution of demographic, classification and wage data, as specified in the Letter of Understanding dated December 14, 2011, to CUPE on behalf of Boards of Education. The data currently housed in the Employment Data and Analysis Systems (EDAS) will be the source of the requested information.
