Common use of Canadian Commercial Workers Industry Pension Plan Clause in Contracts

Canadian Commercial Workers Industry Pension Plan. Effective the date of ratification, the Company will contribute to the Canadian Commercial Workers Industry Pension Plan an amount of Forty-five (45¢) cents per hour for each straight time hour of actual work performed by each non- probationary employee in the bargaining unit covered by this Agreement. It is understood and agreed that the Company fulfils its obligations under this Article 28.03 by making the contributions referred to herein to the said Pension Plan. In all respects the benefits shall be administered in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Pension Plan and without limitation the obligations of the Company shall in no manner whatsoever extend to the performance of the obligations under the said Pension Plan. It is also understood and agreed that the said Pension Plan shall not be or be deemed to be part of this Agreement and shall not be subject to the grievance procedure or to the arbitration provisions contained in this Agreement. Contributions, together with a list of the names of the employees for whom the contributions have been made, the amount of the bi-weekly contribution for each employee and the number of straight time hours actually worked by such employees, will be forwarded by the Company to the Union within twenty-one (21) days after the close of the Company's four (4) or five (5) week accounting period.
