Common use of Callback from Vacation Clause in Contracts

Callback from Vacation. ‌ Employees who have commenced their annual vacation shall not be called back to work, except in cases of extreme emergency, or by mutual agreement. When, during any vacation period, an employee is recalled to work, they shall be reimbursed for all expenses incurred by themselves, in proceeding to their place of work and in returning to the place from which they were recalled upon resumption of vacation, upon submission of receipts (except for meals) to the Employer. Where an employee's spouse and/or dependent children also return from vacation due to the recall of the employee, they shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in returning home. Time necessary for travel in returning to their place of work and returning again to the place from which they were recalled shall not be counted against their remaining vacation entitlement.
