Calendar and Workday. The school year for all members of the bargaining unit shall be one hundred eighty-five (185) days. Such days shall consist of the following:

Calendar and Workday. A. The school year will be in accordance with the school calendar as adopted by the Board of Education each year in keeping with state standards of a minimum of 176 pupil attendance days and a maximum of 4 institute days. Any teacher in-service days needed for professional growth (beyond those minimum mandated by state law) will be negotiated with the teacher organization.
