Bidding/Transfer Sample Clauses

Bidding/Transfer. All current special education assistants who work 1:1 with a student (“CSEA”) will be permitted to bid and obtain another position as outlined in Article 6 for the 2014-15 school year. Effective the first day of the 2015-16 school year, the CSEA may not bid on or transfer to another position with the District unless such bid or transfer would allow the employee to increase their insurance benefit (single to family plan) until the employee has fulfilled one complete school year (August to June). A partial year of service ending in June shall not satisfy this requirement. Effective with the first day of the 2015-2016 school year, regardless of the date of assignment to the CSEA position, employees who remain in the assigned position through the end of the school year shall receive an additional ten percent (10%) stipend based upon their regularly contracted hours, pro-rated if necessary, payable at the close of the school year. The stipend shall be considered compensation and all applicable retirement contributions shall be made.
