Complete School Year Clause Samples

Complete School Year. (i) A unit member who, in any one school year, has served for at least 75 percent of the number of days the regular schools of the District are in session shall be deemed to have served a complete school year. In case of evening schools, 75 percent of the number of days the evening schools of the District are in session shall be deemed a complete school year. (ii) A unit member must actually teach no less than 135 days during a school year to gain credit for one (1) year of service. The effective date of this calculation is the first date of paid service in the District. (iii) In the Independence Network, a unit member must teach no less than 180 days during a school year to gain credit for one (1) year of service. The effective date of this calculation is the first date of paid service in the District.
Complete School Year. A unit member who, in any one school year, has worked at least 75% of the number of days the regular schools are in session, shall be deemed to have served a complete school year. The effective date of this calculation is the first date of paid service for each year worked in the District.
