Benefits Eligibility Hours Requirement (BEHR). An employee first becomes eligible for medical, hospital, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits on the first day of the month following employment. Thereafter, the District will continue to make its contribution to such coverage following each calendar quarter in which the employee has the required number of hours comprised of all paid hours plus all unpaid hours while on a protected statutory leave (“BEHR”). For the term of this agreement, the minimum number of BEHR Hours shall be 240 hours per calendar quarter (Jan – Mar, Apr – Jun, Jul – Sep, Oct – Dec), or 144 hours for MRO. Protected statutory leaves include FMLA/OFLA, ADA, Military Leave, Jury Duty, Worker’s Compensation, Oregon Disaster Leave, Fire and Rescue Operations. If the employee does not have the required BEHR hours, employee coverage will be terminated beginning the first day of the following calendar quarter after the calendar quarter in which the employee did not have sufficient BEHR hours. When the employee once again has sufficient BEHR hours, the District will resume employee coverage and make its contribution to such coverage. During any calendar quarter in which the employee is ineligible for coverage under this provision, the employee shall be offered COBRA coverage paid by the employee.

  • Benefit Eligibility For purposes of the Benefit Plan entitlement, common-law and same sex relationships will apply as defined.

  • Employee Eligibility Verification The Contractor warrants that it fully complies with all Federal and State statutes and regulations regarding the employment of aliens and others and that all its employees performing work under this Contract meet the citizenship or alien status requirement set forth in Federal statutes and regulations. The Contractor shall obtain, from all employees performing work hereunder, all verification and other documentation of employment eligibility status required by Federal or State statutes and regulations including, but not limited to, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, 8 U.S.C. §1324 et seq., as they currently exist and as they may be hereafter amended. If such corporation or association publishes reports of condition at least annually, pursuant to law or to the requirements of the aforesaid supervising or examining authority, then for the purposes of this Section the combined capital and surplus of such corporation or association shall be deemed to be its combined capital and surplus as set forth in its most recent report of condition so published. In case at any time the Trustee shall cease to be eligible in accordance with the provisions of this Section, the Trustee shall resign immediately in the manner and with the effect specified in Section 8.08.
