Availability of Other Check Deposits. Your ability to withdraw funds other than those considered "next-day" items depends primarily on: (i) the length of time you have had an Account with the Branch; and (ii) the type of check (certain other checks). For purposes of this section, a "local check" is a check drawn on a financial institution located in the same check processing region as the Branch. Effective February 27, 2010, there is a single check processing operation. All checks drawn on U.S. banks are now considered local check. In addition, "certain other checks" are defined as: checks drawn on Federal Reserve Bank or Federal Home Loan Bank, state or unit of general local government, U.S. Postal Service money orders, Xxxxxxx’s check, certified or teller checks not deposited in person. The first $225 from a deposit of a local check and certain other checks will be made available on the first business day after the day of your deposit. The remaining funds will be available on the second business day after the day of your deposit. For example, if you deposit a local check of $700 on a Monday, $225 of the deposit is available on Tuesday. The remaining $475 is available on Wednesday. Until your funds are made available, you may not withdraw the funds in cash or write any checks against the funds.

The remaining funds will be available by the second business day after the day of your deposit. For example, if you deposit a local check of $700 on a Monday, $200 of the deposit will be available by Tuesday. The remaining $500 will be available by Wednesday.

Availability of Other Check Deposits. The delay for other check deposits depends on whether the check is a local or a nonlocal check. To see whether a check is a local or a nonlocal check, look at the routing number on the check: , 20 Pay to the Order of $ dollars BANK NAME AND LOCATION 123456789 0000000000 000 0000 0000 0000 ROUTING NUMBER If the first four digits of the routing number ("1234" in the above example) are 1230 to 1233 or 3230 to 3233, then the check is a local check. Otherwise, the check is a nonlocal check. Some checks are marked "payable through" and have a four or nine-digit number nearby. For these checks, use the four- digit number (or the last four digits of the nine-digit number), not the routing number on the bottom of the check, to determine if these checks are local or nonlocal. Our policy is to make funds from local and nonlocal checks available as follows:
