Assistant Fire Marshal. Personnel assigned to this position shall be compensated at the classification of Captain in accordance to the following schedule to be effective the first full pay period in October, 2015. Hourly Monthly Annual $37.97 $6,582.95 $78,996.50 Section VIII Xxxxx Days. Effective October 1, 2012, all fire fighters will work on a 27 day work cycle under Section 207(k) of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Effective October 2, 2012, each fire fighter shall be scheduled off without pay for thirteen (13) Xxxxxx days (1 Xxxxx xxx is used every 27 work day cycle) in order to reduce overtime. Scheduling of 1 Xxxxx days will be based on departmental seniority.
