Assignment to Lanes on Compensation Index. In order to be assigned to the BA, MA, or XXX Xxxx on the Compensation Index, a teacher must have completed the requirements for the respective degree. Teachers intending to enter a master's or doctoral program shall secure prior administrative approval. Such approval shall not be withheld for an accredited degree program in education or programs in a teaching specialty or a related field. In order to be assigned to a post-BA or post-MA lane, a teacher must have earned the necessary semester hours of credit or Board credit since completing the requirements for the respective degree. Such credit must be in courses approved by the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources or designee. These courses must meet the following criteria:

  • Termination Compensation Termination Compensation equal to two (2) times the Executive's Base Period Income shall be paid to the Executive in a single sum payment in cash on the thirtieth (30th) business day after the later of (a) the Control Change Date and (b) the date of the Executive's employment termination; provided that if at the time of the Executive's termination of employment the Executive is a Specified Employee, then payment of the Termination Compensation to the Executive shall be made on the first day of the seventh (7th) month following the Executive's employment termination.

  • Special Compensation The Company shall pay to the Executive a lump sum equal to three times the sum of (a) the highest per annum base rate of salary in effect with respect to the Executive during the three-year period immediately prior to the termination of employment plus (b) the Highest Bonus Amount. Such lump sum shall be paid by the Company to the Executive within ten business days after the Executive's termination of employment, unless the provisions of Section 3(e) below apply. The amount of the aggregate lump sum provided by this Section 3(c), whether paid immediately or deferred, shall not be counted as compensation for purposes of any other benefit plan or program applicable to the Executive.

  • Longevity Compensation Longevity payments will be made to all employees hired prior to January 1, 1999 with continuous full-time service according to the following schedule:

  • Provision for Generation Compensation Grid unavailability in a contract year as defined in the PPA: (only period from 8 am to 6 pm to be counted): Generation Loss = [(Average Generation per hour during the Contract Year) × (number of hours of grid unavailability during the Contract Year)] Where, Average Generation per hour during the Contract Year (kWh) = Total generation in the Contract Year (kWh) ÷ Total hours of generation in the Contract Year. The excess generation by the SPD equal to this generation loss shall be procured by the Buying Utility at the PSA tariff so as to offset this loss in the succeeding 3 (three) Contract Years.

  • Supplemental Compensation Pursuant to Section 7 of the Agreement, Supplemental Compensation will be paid as follows:
