Common use of Annual Vacation Accumulation Clause in Contracts

Annual Vacation Accumulation. Each year of service for the application of this Article shall be a period of twelve (12) months effective on the Nurse’s date of hire. Paid vacation leave credits shall be earned on the basis of regular hours paid. “Regular hours paid” for the purpose of calculating paid vacation leave credits shall include the straight time hourly equivalent of overtime hours worked to the applicable maximum annual vacation entitlement as set out below. Vacation credits shall accumulate to the Nurses on the following basis:
