ANNUAL MILITARY TRAINING. Section A. Differential Pay Full-time active employees, who are ordered to attend annual Military Training will be granted a Leave of Absence up to eighty (80) hours for this purpose in a military fiscal year. Differential pay shall be granted for such Leave providing the Company pay exceeds the Military pay. Differential pay is computed as the difference between Military basic pay (for time spent on military duty on the employee's regularly scheduled workdays) and Company pay at the straight-time base rate. Such items as subsistence (does not include allowance for quarters), uniform and travel allowance shall not be included in determining military pay.

ANNUAL MILITARY TRAINING. An Officer shall be entitled to leave of absence without loss of time or efficiency rating or vacation time or salary on all days during which he or she shall be engaged in authorized training or duty ordered or authorized by proper authority, not to exceed fifteen (15) days in one calendar year.
ANNUAL MILITARY TRAINING. Annual military training leave will be handled in accordance with State law and City Rules and Regulations/Departmental Policy.
ANNUAL MILITARY TRAINING. Employees who are members of the National Guard or the Military Reserve of the Armed Forces and are called and expected to participate in annual military training shall be excused with difference in pay for a period not to exceed two weeks in any one year.

  • MILITARY TRAINING A permanent-status or limited-status classified employee who is a member of the Organized Reserve or National Guard shall be allowed military leave with pay, at the rate of his or her normal base salary prorated as appropriate, for any authorized training, UTA, AT Period, or other State or Federal service up to a maximum of fifteen (15) workdays scheduled by military authority in any Federal Training Year - October 1 to September 30. A permanent-status or limited-status classified employee who has more than fifteen (15) days of authorized military duty scheduled in one (1) Federal Training Year shall not be entitled to leave with pay for those days in excess of fifteen (15), and shall be placed in an off payroll or leave of absence status, unless he or she elects to use accumulated annual, personal leave, or compensatory time leave credits for the period of absence.

  • Military Training Leave An employee who has served with the State of Oregon or its counties, municipalities or other political subdivisions for six (6) months or more immediately preceding an application for military leave, and who is a member of the National Guard or of any reserve components of the armed forces of the United States is entitled to a leave of absence with pay for a period not exceeding fifteen (15) calendar days or eleven (11) workdays in any federal fiscal year. If the training time for which the employee is called to active duty is longer than fifteen (15) calendar days, the employee may be paid for the first eleven (11) days only if such time is served for the purpose of discharging an obligation of annual active duty for training in the military reserve or National Guard.

  • Voluntary Training Where training facilities are provided by the Company on a voluntary basis, an employee taking advantage of such training will not be compensated.

  • Annual Training The Governing Board shall receive initial training and annual training thereafter. Pursuant to O.C.G.A §20-2-2072 and relevant State Board rules, the training shall include, but not be limited to, best practices on school governance, the constitutional and statutory requirements relating to public records and meetings, and the requirements of applicable statutes and rules and regulations.

  • Supervisory or Military Service It is understood service with the Armed Forces of Canada in time of war or compulsory military service, or service with the Employer as a supervisory employee does not constitute a break in the continuous service and shall not affect an employee's seniority rights.

  • Military Deployment Deployment or other required relocation as an active member of the U.S. Armed Services to a location not within the geographic limits of Orange County, Florida and/or any county adjacent to Orange County, Florida. The Student must provide activation, deployment, travel, or assignment orders to UCF DHRL. Military deployment or other required relocation terminates this agreement for any semesters commencing after the deployment date, and UCF DHRL will refund a portion of the rent for the semester the Student deploys, based upon the Student’s move out date.

  • Military Reserve Training In accordance with State and Federal laws, any employee who is a member of any reserve component of the military forces of the United States required by official military orders or related authority to attend Military Reserve Training shall receive full wages at their current base pay rate for the period of the active duty required for such training not to exceed fifteen (15) days per calendar year.

  • Catastrophic Leave - Natural Disaster Upon request of an employee and upon approval of a department director or designee, leave credits (CTO, vacation, personal leave, annual leave, personal day, and/or holiday credit) shall be transferred from one or more employees to another employee, in accordance with departmental policies, under the following conditions:

  • Additional Training Should the introduction of new methods of operation create a need for the perfection or acquisition of skills requiring a training period longer than one (1) year, the additional training time shall be a subject for discussion between the Board and the Union.
