Travelling Companion definition

Travelling Companion means an individual or individuals travelling with the Insured/Insured Person, provided that, the Insured and such individual(s) are travelling to the same destination and on the same date and such individual(s) is/are also insured under this Policy. For the purpose of this definition, any individual(s) forming part of a group travelling on a tour arranged by a Travel Agent or a tour operator shall not be considered as Travelling Companion, unless the individual(s) is/are part of the family of the Insured/Insured Person.

Travelling Companion. Means a person with whom You have made arrangements before Your policy was issued, to travel with You for at least 75% of Your Journey.

Travelling Companion means a person who is sharing the same booked accommodation with the Insured Person.

Examples of Travelling Companion in a sentence

• A Travelling Companion is any one person travelling with the covered person, and whose fare for transportation and accommodation was pre-paid at the same time as the covered person’s fare.

• If a trip is interrupted or delayed due to an illness or injury of a covered person, one-way economy transportation will be arranged to enable each covered person and a Travelling Companion (if applicable) to rejoin the trip or return home.

• You or Your Travelling Companion must be under the direct care and attendance of a Physician.

• If a trip is interrupted or delayed due to an illness or injury of a covered person, one-way economy transportation will be arranged to enable each covered person and a Travelling Companion (if applicable) to rejoin the trip or return home.Expenses incurred, over and above any allowance available under pre-paid travel arrangements will be paid.

More Definitions of Travelling Companion

Travelling Companion means any other person (up to a maximum of two (2) people), other than a Spouse or Dependent Children, who accompanies You throughout the Trip. A travelling companion is not covered under this insurance.

Travelling Companion means an individual or individuals travelling with you during the Policy period, provided that, you and such individual(s) are travelling to the same destination on the same dates and provided that such individual(s) is/ are also insured under Future Generali Travel Suraksha. For the purpose of this definition, any individual(s) forming part of a group travelling on a tour arranged by a travel agent or a tour leader is not considered as Travelling Companion, unless the individual(s) is part of Your Immediate Family as defined herein.

Travelling Companion means an accompanying person without whom the journey or trip cannot start.

Travelling Companion means someone who shares trip arrangements and accommodations with You. Exceptions: No more than three (3) individuals (including You) will be considered travel companions on any one trip. Treated or Treatment means any medical, therapeutic or diagnostic procedure prescribed, performed or recommended by a Physician, including but not limited to prescribed or unprescribed medication, investigative testing and surgery. The term “treatment” does not include the unaltered use of prescribed medication for a Medical Condition which is Stable. We, Us and Our mean TD Life Insurance Company with respect to the Medical Covered Causes for Cancellation and Medical Covered Causes for Interruption. We, Us and Our mean TD Home and Auto Insurance Company with respect to the Non-Medical Covered Causes for Cancellation and Non-Medical Covered Causes for Interruption. These terms are defined in sections 6 and 7. You and Your means the Primary Cardholder.
