Travelling Companion definition

Travelling Companion means an individual or individuals travelling with the Insured/Insured Person, provided that, the Insured and such individual(s) are travelling to the same destination and on the same date and such individual(s) is/are also insured under this Policy. For the purpose of this definition, any individual(s) forming part of a group travelling on a tour arranged by a Travel Agent or a tour operator shall not be considered as Travelling Companion, unless the individual(s) is/are part of the family of the Insured/Insured Person.
Travelling Companion. Means a person with whom You have made arrangements before Your policy was issued, to travel with You for at least 75% of Your Journey.
Travelling Companion means a person who is sharing the same booked accommodation with the Insured Person.

  • A Travelling Companion is any one person travelling with the covered person, and whose fare for transportation and accommodation was pre-paid at the same time as the covered person’s fare.

  • If a trip is interrupted or delayed due to an illness or injury of a covered person, one-way economy transportation will be arranged to enable each covered person and a Travelling Companion (if applicable) to rejoin the trip or return home.

More Definitions of Travelling Companion

Travelling Companion means any other person (up to a maximum of two (2) people), other than a Spouse or Dependent Children, who accompanies You throughout the Trip. A travelling companion is not covered under this insurance.

We, Us and Our mean TD Home and Auto Insurance Company with respect to the Non-Medical Covered Causes for Cancellation and Non-Medical Covered Causes for Interruption. These terms are defined in sections 6 and 7. You and Your means the Primary Cardholder.
