Transferred Participant definition

Transferred Participant means an AbbVie Employee or an AbbVie LTD Participant (as defined in the EMA), excluding any Post-Distribution AbbVie Employee (as defined in the EMA), who accepts an offer of employment or continues employment with or is transferred to AbbVie Inc. under the EMA on or immediately after the Separation (as defined in the Separation Agreement).

Transferred Participant means a Participant who is identified in the Department’s IT Systems as a transferred Participant. ‘Transferred Relocation Assistance to Take Up a Job Participant’ or ‘Transferred RATTUAJ Participant’ means a RATTUAJ Participant who has been previously serviced by an employment services provider other than the Provider.

Transferred Participant means any employee of the Company who was an active participant in the Boise Cascade Corporation Pension Plan for Salaried Employees, as amended from time to time, immediately before the Closing Date and whose pension benefits determined on the basis of the provisions of such plan, without regard to the limitations of the Code, would exceed the monthly equivalent of the maximum benefit permitted by the Code to be paid to a participant in such plan, taking into account all limitations required by the Code in order for such plan to retain its qualified status under Section 401 of the Code.

Examples of Transferred Participant in a sentence

• If directed by the Department, the Provider must provide Program Services to a Transferred Participant who transfers from another Program Provider to the Provider in accordance with this Agreement and any Guidelines.

• As of the Effective Date, the benefits of each Transferred Participant shall be transferred from the Sara Lee Plan, and continued in the form of, the Plan.

• For the purposes of clause 84.1, the Provider must assist, facilitate and cooperate with the Transferred Participant and the other Programme Provider, including complying with any specific transition arrangements required by the Department, if advised to the Provider by the Department, prior to the transfer of the Transferred Participant, in order to enable services to continue to be provided to the Transferred Participant.

• In addition, the accrued benefits of any Transferred Participant shall be transferred from the Sara Lee SERP to the Plan as of the Effective Date.

• A Participant’s Transferred Participant Account shall be accounted for separately from all other of his/her contributions hereunder and the Company’s contributions to his/her regular Participant Account.

More Definitions of Transferred Participant

Transferred Participant means any participant in the Sara Lee SERP who was employed by the Corporation on December 31, 2005 or who was last employed by the Corporation’s predecessor division of Sara Lee Corporation; provided, however, that L. Chaden, D. Volz, and expatriate employees of the Corporation on January 1, 2006 shall not be considered “Transferred Participants,” so that such individuals’ benefits under the Sara Lee SERP shall remain payable exclusively by Sara Lee Corporation under the Sara Lee SERP.

Transferred Participant means a Participant who is identified in the Department’s IT Systems as a transferred Participant, including a 2012/13 transferred Participant or a 2014/15 transferred Participant.

Transferred Participant means (i) an individual who, as of the close of business on the Split Date, is employed by TimkenSteel Corporation or a subsidiary of TimkenSteel Corporation and who immediately prior to the Split Date was a participant in the Plan, and (ii) any former employee of the Company or its affiliates who immediately prior to the Split Date was a participant in the Plan and who is designated by the Company and TimkenSteel Corporation as a former employee whose employment was associated with the business of TimkenSteel Corporation at the time of the individual's termination of employment with the Company or its affiliates.

Transferred Participant means a Participant who has transferred to Canada to be employed by the Company in Canada and participate in the IPSCO Inc. Canadian Supplemental Retirement Benefit Plan, or any other Canadian pension arrangement provided by the Company.

Transferred Participant means a Participant who has transferred to the United States (U.S.) to be employed by the Company in the U.S. and participate in the IPSCO Enterprises Inc. U.S. Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan, or any other U.S. pension arrangement provided by the Company.

Transferred Participant has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2(a)(1).

Transferred Participant means a Participant with respect to whom a transfer is received under this Contract pursuant to Section 2.03.
