Total Government Funding definition

Total Government Funding means cash contributions provided by the federal government and other contributions from the provincial/territorial and municipal governments toward the Total Project Costs;

If the last day of such period is not a Business Day, the period in question shall end on the next Business Day. 1.5 Gender and Number: In this Agreement, words importing the singular include the plural and vice versa and words importing gender include all genders , gender identities and expressions. 1.6 Miscellaneous: Unless otherwise specified and/or required by the context in which any term appears; (a) all references to a particular entity include such entity’s successors and (if applicable) permitted assigns; and (b) a reference to a treaty, statute or to a regulation issued by a Governmental Authority includes the treaty, statute or regulation in force as of the Effective Date together with all amendments and supplements thereto and any treaty, statute or regulation substituted for such statute or regulations. In case of conflict between any provision in the main body of this Agreement and a provision in a schedule attached hereto, the provision in the main body of this Agreement shall take precedence. 1.7 Schedules: The following schedules are attached to and made part of this Agreement:

Examples of Total Government Funding in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding Section 3.2, Total Government Funding provided under this Agreement shall under no circumstances exceed seventy-five percent (75%) of Eligible Expenditures, unless Recipient is a provincial, territorial, regional or municipal government or the department of an agency of same, in which case the Total Government Funding provided under this Agreement shall not exceed one-hundred percent (100%) of Eligible Expenditures.

  • Tribal government means an Indian tribal government as defined in Section 3(32) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), as amended, or an agency or instrumentality of the trib- al government, that has government offices principally located in this state.

  • Local government entity means a county, incorporated city, independent school district, public junior college district, emergency services district, other special district, joint board, or other entity defined as a political subdivision under Texas law that maintains the capability to provide mutual aid.

  • Local government unit or “LGU” means (i) a State Authority, county, Municipality, municipal, county or regional sewerage or utility Authority, municipal sewerage district, joint meeting, improvement Authority, or any other political subdivision of the State authorized pursuant to law to construct, operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems, or (ii) a State Authority, district water supply commission, county, Municipality, municipal, county or regional utilities Authority, municipal water district, joint meeting or any other political subdivision of the State authorized pursuant to law to operate or maintain a public water supply system or to construct, rehabilitate, operate or maintain water supply facilities or otherwise provide water for human consumption; or (iii) a county, municipality, municipal, county or regional transportation authority, or any other political subdivision of the State authorized to construct, operate, and maintain public highways or transportation projects as defined pursuant to this section.

  • Federal Government means the Federal Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

  • Comparable Government Bond means, in relation to any Comparable Government Bond Rate calculation, at the discretion of an independent investment bank selected by us, a German government bond whose maturity is closest to the maturity of the notes to be redeemed, or if such independent investment bank in its discretion determines that such similar bond is not in issue, such other German government bond as such independent investment bank may, with the advice of three brokers of, and/or market makers in, German government bonds selected by us, determine to be appropriate for determining the Comparable Government Bond Rate.

  • Long-Term U.S. Government Securities means U.S. Government Securities maturing more than one year from the applicable date of determination.

  • Available government assistance means any governmental rental or housing payment benefits available to the individual or any household member.
