Television means a system for transmitting visual images and sound that are reproduced on screens, and includes broadcast, cable, on-demand, satellite, or internet programming. Television includes any video programming downloaded or streamed via the internet.
Cable Television Network or “cable TV network” means any system consisting of a set of closed transmission paths and associated signal generation, control and distribution equipment, designed to provide cable service for reception by multiple subscribers;
broadcast means the transmission, relaying or distribution by wireless telegraphy of communications, sounds, signs, visual images or signals, intended for direct reception by the general public whether such communications, sounds, signs, visual images or signals are actually received or not;
Video programming means programming provided by, or generally considered comparable to programming provided by, a television broadcast station.
Channel means a natural or artificial watercourse with a definite bed and banks that conducts flowing water continuously or periodically.
Radio means a system for transmitting sound without visual images, and includes broadcast, cable, on-demand, satellite, or internet programming. Radio includes any audio programming downloaded or streamed via the internet.
Programming means the process of organisation, decision-making and allocation of financial resources in several stages, with the involvement of partners in accordance with Article 5, intended to implement, on a multi-annual basis, joint action by the Union and the Member States to achieve the objectives of the Union strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth;
Cable television service means the one-way transmission to subscribers of video programming and other programming service and subscriber interaction, if any, that is required for the selection or use of the video programming or other programming service.
Common Channel Signaling (CCS means an out-of-band, packet-switched, signaling network used to transport supervision signals, control signals, and data messages. It is a special network, fully separate from the transmission path of the public switched network. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the CCS protocol used by the Parties shall be SS7.
Common Channel Signaling (“CCS”) is a method of digitally transmitting call set-up and network control data over a digital signaling network fully separate from the public switched telephone network that carries the actual call.
rebroadcasting means the simultaneous broadcasting by one broadcasting organisation of the broadcast of another broadcasting organisation.
Channels means the methods by which you may access our various Account services, including all or any of the following where authorised by the Bank for you: in person through our branches, by Cash Machine, by our OPEN24 Service and by such other means as we may from time to time make available. The Accounts and services that may be accessed and utilised may vary across the different Channels and the limits applicable to particular transactions or services may also vary across the different Channels.
Game has the meaning ascribed to that term in the Control Act;
Games means the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games to be held in Birmingham, England between 28 July – 8 August 2022.
Video means simulated movement created by the display of a series of images creating the illusion of continuous movement.
Broadcaster means a person or a group of persons, or body corporate, or any organization or body who, after having obtained, in its name, downlinking permission for its channels, from the Central Government, is providing programming services;
broadcasting service means any service which consists of the broadcasting of television or sound broadcasting programs to the public, sections of the public or subscribers to such a service;
Video service means video programming, cable services, IPTV, or OVS provided through facilities located at least in part in the public rights-of-way without regard to delivery technology, including internet protocol technology. This definition does not include any video programming provided by a commercial mobile service provider defined in 47 USC 332(d) or provided solely as part of, and via, a service that enables users to access content, information, electronic mail, or other services offered over the public internet.
broadcasting means the transmission by wireless means for public reception of sounds or of images and sounds or of the representations thereof; such transmission by satellite is also “broadcasting”; transmission of encrypted signals is “broadcasting” where the means for decrypting are provided to the public by the broadcasting organization or with its consent;
broadcasting station means a station in the broadcasting service.
Communications Channel means a physical or virtual path of communications over which signals are transmitted between or among customer channel termination points.
Digital network means any online-enabled application, software, website, or system offered or utilized by a transportation network carrier that enables the prearrangement of rides with transportation network carrier drivers.
Satellite means any satellite owned by the Issuer or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries and any satellite purchased by the Issuer or any of its Restricted Subsidiaries pursuant to the terms of a Satellite Purchase Agreement, whether such satellite is in the process of manufacture, has been delivered for launch or is in orbit (whether or not in operational service).
Cable Television System means any facility consisting of a set of closed transmission paths and
Play or "Bet" means a set of six (6) numbers, the first five (5) from a field of seventy (70) numbers and the last one (1) from a field of twenty-five (25) numbers, that appear on a ticket or ticketless transaction as a single lettered selection and are to be played by a player in the game. Each Play is played separately in determining matches to winning numbers and prize amounts.
