Standard Measurement Period definition

Standard Measurement Period or “SMP” means the 12-month period adopted by the Plan for during which Employees’ work hours and applicable leave are measured to determine whether such Employees are eligible for coverage. The SMP begins each year on October 3rd.
Standard Measurement Period means the twelve (12) month period ending each October 31. The Employer shall measure an Ongoing Employee's Hours of Service during the Standard Measurement Period as described in as described in Paragraph B of this Appendix.
Standard Measurement Period means the 12 consecutive calendar month period that yourparticipating employer will use to look-back and determine your employment status for benefit purposes.

Examples of Standard Measurement Period in a sentence

  • For example, an employee that spends one month on FMLA leave during the Standard Measurement Period would have their total hours of service averaged over nine (9) months (rather than 10) to determine full-time employee status.

  • Unpaid time spent on FMLA should be excluded from the calculation of hours worked over the Standard Measurement Period.

  • The Standard Measurement Period for REFUGIO COUNTY begins August 1 each year and ends 12 months later on July 31.

More Definitions of Standard Measurement Period

Standard Measurement Period means the twelve (12) consecutive month period starting November 1 and ending October 31.
