Security Redemption definition

Security Redemption means the Security specified as such in the relevant Final Terms is early redeemed, terminated or cancelled, in whole or in part, on or prior to any stated maturity for whatever reasons; and
Security Redemption means any Underlying Security is early redeemed, terminated or cancelled, in whole or in part, on or prior to its stated maturity for whatever reason; and
Security Redemption means, in relation to a Security that is a debt security (including, without limitation, a debt security that is convertible or exchangeable into equity securities), a preference share or a warrant, or in relation to any other security that has a stated maturity or expiry date, that it is redeemed, converted, exchanged, exercised, terminated or cancelled, in whole or in part, on or prior to any stated maturity or expiry date for whatever reason.

Examples of Security Redemption in a sentence

  • If an Exchange Offer occurs under the Registration Rights Agreement, the Company will be required, on the Remarketing Settlement Date, to redeem, in whole (but not in part), certain Debentures which were not exchanged pursuant to the Exchange Offer (a "Transfer Restricted Security Redemption").

  • As part of a Transfer Restricted Security Redemption, on the Schedule Remarketing Settlement Date such Securities will be exchanged with the Trust for Debentures having an aggregate principal amount equal to the aggregate liquidation of such Securities and such Debentures shall immediately be redeemed by the Company at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount thereof plus accrued and unpaid interest and Additional Interest, if any, to the date of redemption.
