Reworking Operation definition

Reworking Operation means an operation conducted in the wellbore of an existing Hydrocarbon well (including a temporarily abandoned or plugged and abandoned well) designated as provided herein as a Reworked Phase I Well in order to obtain Hydrocarbon production when there has been none, reestablish production that has ceased or declined, or increase existing production, in each case, from a subsurface interval within the Surface-San Mxxxxx Interval. Such operations may include, without limitation: (a) the re-entry of a Hydrocarbon well to conduct deepening, sidetracking, plugging back, and/or recompletion operations (as defined in the Operating Agreement) therein; (b) the repair or replacement of damaged casing, tubing, or other downhole equipment; (c) cleaning sand or silt out of the wellbore; (d) the acidization, ASP flooding, or other chemical or mechanical treatment of the relevant subsurface interval; (e) the installation of equipment for the removal or reduction of excessive brine, water, or condensate from the wellbore; (f) hydraulic fracturing and other recognized and non-experimental formation stimulation operations; (g) the application of other, appropriate and non-experimental enhanced production stimulation technology selected by Participant, in consultation with Stratex; (h) the installation of pumping units or compression; (i) the reperforation of the wellbore in the relevant subsurface interval; and (j) the performance of associated logging and testing. Drilling Operations do not constitute Reworking Operations for purposes of this Agreement.

Examples of Reworking Operation in a sentence

  • Within a reasonable time after cessation of any Drilling or Reworking Operation, not to exceed three (3) months, Lessee shall level all disturbed areas remove all debris and all of Lessee’s equipment and material, restore the surrounding land so that it will support the crops or natural range vegetation thereon, and generally shall restore the surface of the land to the same condition and quality as it was before the commencement of such operations.

  • Subject to the terms of Section 6.2, and except for the drilling of the proposed Hydrocarbon wells listed on Exhibit B, nothing contained in this Agreement shall obligate WI Owners to participate in any Drilling Operation, Reworking Operation, Alternate Zone Operation, Enhanced Recovery Operation, or other operation on the Subject Interests proposed by a co-owner of a Lease under the terms of an applicable Non-Consent Provision.

Related to Reworking Operation

  • Farming operation means raising, cultivating, propagating, fattening, grazing, or any other farming, livestock, or aquacultural operation.

  • Mining operation means any operations undertaken for the purpose of winning any mineral as defined in section 3 (d) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.

  • Animal feeding operation (“AFO”) means a lot or facility (other than an aquatic animal production facility) where animals have been, are, or will be stabled or confined and fed or maintained for a total of 45 days or more in any 12-month period, and crops, vegetation, forage growth, or post-harvest residues are not sustained in the normal growing season over any portion of the lot or facility [40 CFR § 122.23(b)(1)].

  • Drilling operations means the drilling of an oil and gas well and the production and completion operations ensuing from the drilling which require entry upon the surface estate and which were commenced after June 30, 1979, and oil and gas geophysical and seismograph exploration activities commenced after June 30, 1983.

  • Salvage operation means any business, trade or industry engaged in whole or in part in salvaging or reclaiming any product or material, including but not limited to metals, chemicals, shipping containers or drums.

  • Manufacturing operation means a process in which materials are changed, converted, or transformed into a different state or form from which they previously existed and includes refining materials, assembling parts, and preparing raw materials and parts by mixing, measuring, blending, or otherwise committing such materials or parts to the manufacturing process. "Manufacturing operation" does not include packaging.

  • Production Operations means all operations conducted for the purpose of producing Petroleum from the Development Area after the commencement of production from the Development Area including the operation and maintenance of all necessary facilities therefor.

  • In operation means engaged in activity related to the primary design function of the source.

  • Rework and “Reworking” means subjecting a Product to one or more processing steps that are different from the established Manufacturing Process.

  • Development Operations means operations conducted in accordance with the Development Plan and shall include, but not be limited to the purchase, shipment or storage of equipment and materials used in developing Petroleum accumulations, the drilling, completion and testing of Development Xxxxx, the drilling and completion of Xxxxx for Gas or water injection, the laying of gathering lines, the installation of offshore platforms and installations, the installation of separators, tankages, pumps, artificial lift and other producing and injection facilities required to produce, process and transport Petroleum into main Oil storage or Gas processing facilities, either onshore or offshore, including the laying of pipelines within or outside the Contract Area, storage at Delivery Point(s), the installation of said storage or Gas processing facilities, the installation of export and loading facilities and other facilities required for the development and production of the said Petroleum accumulations and for the delivery of Crude Oil and/or Gas at the Delivery Point and also including incidental operations not specifically referred to herein but required for the most efficient and economic development and production of the said Petroleum accumulations in accordance with modern oilfield and petroleum industry practices.

  • Development Work means the work of development to be performed on or with respect to the Land (including, without limitation, the installation of utilities, roads and all related on-site and off-site improvements) in connection with the development of the Land for the subsequent construction thereon of Homes, all of which work and construction shall be completed by or on behalf of the Borrower in accordance with the Plans and Specifications, but shall not include the Construction Improvements.

  • drilling means the act of boring a hole to reach a proposed bottom hole location through which oil or gas may be produced if encountered in paying quantities, and includes redrilling, sidetracking, deepening, or other means necessary to reach the proposed bottom hole location, testing, logging, plugging, and other operations necessary and incidental to the actual boring of the hole;

  • Working Week means an average of 48 hours each week calculated over a 17-week reference period.

  • Commissioning means the process for determining the need for and for obtaining the supply of healthcare and related services by the Trust within available resources.

  • Workover means operations on a producing well to restore or increase production.

  • Joint Operations means all operations necessary or proper for the development, operation, protection and maintenance of the Joint Property.

  • Development Well means a well drilled inside the established limits of an oil or gas reservoir, or in close proximity to the edge of the reservoir, to the depth of a stratigraphic horizon known to be productive.

  • The Works/Project means the works to be executed or done under this contract.

  • Exploration Operations means operations conducted in the Contract Area pursuant to this Contract in searching for Petroleum and in the course of an Appraisal Programme and shall include but not be limited to aerial, geological, geophysical, geochemical, palaeontological, palynological, topographical and seismic surveys, analysis, studies and their interpretation, investigations relating to the subsurface geology including structural test drilling, stratigraphic test drilling, drilling of Exploration Xxxxx and Appraisal Xxxxx and other related activities such as surveying, drill site preparation and all work necessarily connected therewith that is conducted in connection with Petroleum exploration.

  • Working face means that portion of a sanitary landfill facility where solid wastes are unloaded for final deposition.

  • Farm operation means any activity conducted solely or primarily for the production of one or more agricultural products or commodities, including timber, for sale or home use, and customarily producing such products or commodities in sufficient quantity to be capable of contributing materially to the operator's support.
