Exploration Operations definition

Exploration Operations means operations conducted in the Contract Area pursuant to this Contract in searching for Petroleum and in the course of an Appraisal Programme and shall include but not be limited to aerial, geological, geophysical, geochemical, palaeontological, palynological, topographical and seismic surveys, analysis, studies and their interpretation, investigations relating to the subsurface geology including structural test drilling, stratigraphic test drilling, drilling of Exploration Xxxxx and Appraisal Xxxxx and other related activities such as surveying, drill site preparation and all work necessarily connected therewith that is conducted in connection with Petroleum exploration.
Exploration Operations means any operations carried out for or in connection with the exploration for minerals, and includes -
Exploration Operations means operations which shall include but not be limited to such geological, geophysical, and other surveys and any interpretation of data relating thereto, and the drilling of such shot holes, core holes, stratigraphic tests, Exploration Xxxxx for the Discovery of Petroleum, Appraisal of Discoveries and other related operations.

  • The local content percentage of the goods and services to be directly or indirectly purchased by the Contractor, related to investments in the Exploration Operations in the Contract Area shall be included in the column Expected Local Content of the Exploration Plan.

More Definitions of Exploration Operations

Exploration Operations means the search for Petroleum in the Area previously not known to have existed, using geological, geophysical and other methods and the drilling of Exploration Well(s) as more particularly defined in the Rules.
