Definition of Policies

  1. Policies means insurance policies and insurance contracts of any kind (other than life and benefits policies or contracts), including primary, excess and umbrella policies, commercial general liability policies, fiduciary liability, automobile, aircraft, property and casualty, workers' compensation and employee dishonesty insurance policies and bonds, together with the rights, benefits and privileges thereunder.
  2. Policies means all such internal policies including security, access and computer and/or network-related user policies as apply within the Seller's business from time to time and of which the Company has been notified.

Examples of Policies in a sentence

  1. The territorial limits of this Contract shall be identical with those of the Companys Policies.
  2. No claims have been made that are currently pending, outstanding or otherwise remain unsatisfied under any such Policies that could, individually or in the aggregate, reasonably be expected to have a Material Adverse Effect.
  3. Post-Underwriting Period Conversion Policies shall have the meaning specified in Section 4.3(b).

Definition of Policies in Separation and Distribution Agreement

Policies means all policies, policy forms, binders, slips, treaties, certificates, insurance or reinsurance Contracts or participation agreements and other agreements of insurance or reinsurance, whether individual or group (including all applications, supplements, endorsements, riders and ancillary agreements in connection therewith) and all amendments, applications and certificates pertaining thereto issued by any Company Insurance Subsidiary.

Policies means all insurance policies, insurance contracts and claim administration contracts of any kind of Verizon and its Subsidiaries (including members of the Spinco Group) and their predecessors which were or are in effect at any time at or prior to the Distribution Date, including commercial general liability, automobile, workers' compensation, excess and umbrella, aircraft, crime, property and business interruption, directors' and officers' liability, fiduciary liability, employment practices liability, errors and omissions, special accident, environmental, inland and marine, and captive insurance company arrangements, together with all rights, benefits and privileges thereunder.
