Original equipment part definition

Original equipment part means a part present in or on a vehicle at the time the vehicle is sold to the ultimate purchaser, except for components in- stalled by a dealer which are not manu- factured by the vehicle manufacturer or are not installed at the direction of the vehicle manufacturer.
