New unit member orientation definition

New unit member orientation means the onboarding process of a newly hired public employee, that occurs on or after the new employee’s date of hire whether in person, online, or through other means or mediums, in which employeesare advised of their employment status, rights, benefits, duties and responsibilities, or any other employment-related matters. The District shall provide every new employee with such an orientation on or after the date of hire, and CODAA shall be provided access to this new employee orientation as described in this Article. It is understood that this does not preclude the District from providing new employees with additional information prior to their first date of hire to assist them in starting their employment with the District.

  • Bargaining Unit Member or “employee” means a University employee who is included in the bargaining unit as defined in Article 2: “Recognition and Scope”.

  • Class B Limited Partner means any Person executing (by power of attorney or otherwise) this Agreement as of the date hereof as a Class B Limited Partner or hereafter admitted to the Partnership as a Class B Limited Partner as herein provided, but shall not include any Person who has ceased to be a Class B Limited Partner in the Partnership.
