Network Interconnection definition

Network Interconnection means “Interconnection”.
Network Interconnection means the transmission links between Base Stations and MSCs, between an MSC and another MSC, and between MSCs and PSTNs but does not include connections between demarcation points of transmission links and System Elements for which the Vendor will be responsible pursuant to the terms of this Contract, including its obligations to install and test upon the Owner's completion of such transmission links. Typically T1 transmission links are used for connectivity.
Network Interconnection is defined as “the direct connection of two or more IT networks for the purpose of sharing data and other information resources.” (This is based on the definition of system interconnection in NIST SP 800-47, Security Guide for Interconnecting Information Technology Systems)
