Literary Publishing Rights definition

Literary Publishing Rights means, with respect to each Picture, the right to publish and distribute for sale to the public hardcover or soft-cover printed publications of all or any part of the Literary Material (i.e., copies of the screenplay without images) (other than music and/or lyrics) used in connection with the Picture, at any stage of completion with the foregoing not in any way limiting or including publications included within Merchandising Rights.

  • Licensed Materials means any materials that Executive utilizes for the benefit of the Company (or any Subsidiary thereof), or delivers to the Company or the Company’s Customers, which (a) do not constitute Work Product, (b) are created by Executive or of which Executive is otherwise in lawful possession and (c) Executive may lawfully utilize for the benefit of, or distribute to, the Company or the Company’s Customers.

  • Promotional Materials means all sales representative training materials and all written, printed, graphic, electronic, audio or video matter, including, without limitation, journal advertisements, sales visual aids, formulary binders, reprints, direct mail, direct-to-consumer advertising, internet postings and sites and broadcast advertisements intended for use or used by either Party or its Affiliates or sublicensees in connection with any promotion of a Product.

  • Works of Authorship means Software, register-transfer level and gate-level descriptions, netlists, documentation, scripts, verification components, test suites, websites, content, images, graphics, text, photographs, artwork, audiovisual works, sound recordings, graphs, drawings, reports, analyses, writings, and other works of authorship and copyrightable subject matter.

  • Derivative Works means any work, whether in Source or Object form, that is based on (or derived from) the Work and for which the editorial revisions, annotations, elaborations, or other modifications represent, as a whole, an original work of authorship. For the purposes of this License, Derivative Works shall not include works that remain separable from, or merely link (or bind by name) to the interfaces of, the Work and Derivative Works thereof.

  • Designs means your plans, layouts, specifications, drawings and designs for the proposed furnishings, fixtures, equipment, signs and décor of the Hotel that use and incorporate the Standards.

  • Game has the meaning ascribed to that term in the Control Act;

  • Registered Intellectual Property Rights means all Intellectual Property Rights that are the subject of an application, certificate, filing, registration, or other document issued by, filed with, or recorded by, any Governmental Authority in any jurisdiction.

  • Logo means the SAP Partner logo as detailed in the SAP Partner Logo Usage Guidelines.

  • Printed Materials means a plastic disc storage case, title page, instruction booklet, warranty card and poster incorporating the Artwork, together with a precautions booklet in the form specified by NOA.

  • Exploitation means to make, have made, import, export, use, have used, sell, have sold, or offer for sale, including to Develop, Commercialize, register, modify, enhance, improve, Manufacture, have Manufactured, hold, or keep (whether for disposal or otherwise), or otherwise dispose of.

  • Licensed Material means the artistic or literary work, database, or other material to which the Licensor applied this Public License.

  • Licensed Intellectual Property Rights means any Intellectual Property Rights owned by a third party that a Person has a right to use, exploit or practice by virtue of a license grant, immunity from Legal Action or otherwise.

  • IP Materials has the meaning given to it in clause E8.1 (Intellectual Property Rights).

  • Promotional Material means all material used in the promotion of, or otherwise in connection with, the Business (whether written or recorded in any other medium) and includes artwork, advertising materials (irrespective of the medium in which they are recorded), display materials, packaging materials, brochures, posters and internal and external signage.

  • Meeting Materials means the notice of meeting, the Circular and the form of proxy in respect of the Meeting which accompanies the Circular, and any amendments or supplements thereto;

  • Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.

  • Works means work to be done by the Contractor under the Contract.

  • Licensed Property means the portion of the Software and the Documentation to which Customer has purchased a License as identified on an applicable Order. Licensed Property shall include any updates or upgrades to the Licensed Property that AvePoint may at its discretion deliver to Customer.
