Force Account definition

Force Account means the use of the Recipient's own employees, equipment, or resources for the Project.
Force Account means the performance of a development or maintenance project with the forces and resources of the spon- sor, including personal services, equipment and materials.
Force Account as used in A.R.S. § 41-2572, means work performed by the state’s regularly employed personnel.

  • Should the Design Professional disagree with the Contractor as to the amount of the adjustment to the Contract Sum and such disagreement is not resolved between them within seven days, the Owner, if it desires the Change Order work to proceed, may direct a Change Order for Force Account or Indeterminate Units.

  • The Change Order cost is accomplished by Force Account in the event the Contractor and Design Professional cannot agree on the cost of the Change Order or the cost cannot be reasonably determined prior to beginning the Work.
