Escalation Amount definition

Escalation Amount for or in respect of any Calendar Year means the product of (A) the Gross Rentable Area of the Demised Premises times (B.) the amount by which the sum of the Operating Expenses and the Taxes per square foot of the Gross Rentable Area of the Building for such Calendar Year as exceeds the sum of the Taxes for the Base Year plus the Base Year operating expenses per square foot of the Gross Rentable Area of the Building.
Escalation Amount. An amount equal to two percent (2%) of the Minimum ----------------- Rent for the previous Lease Year.
