Employees of the Bargaining Unit definition

Employees of the Bargaining Unit means all teachers on the teaching staff including half-time teachers and Teaching Assistants. It is understood that Article 4.9 Fair Dismissal-Board Prerogatives, Probationary Period applies to full-time teachers and full-time teaching assistants.
Employees of the Bargaining Unit means all non-teaching employees, including regular part-time employees, whose positions are scheduled in Appendix "A".

Examples of Employees of the Bargaining Unit in a sentence

  • The Employer further recognizes that many of the Employees of the Bargaining Unit are members of professional colleges and are therefore required to update their knowledge and skills on a regular basis through participation in professional development.

  • Contracting out to an employer who is organized and who will employ the Employees of the Bargaining Unit who would otherwise be laid off with similar terms and conditions of employment is not a breach of this provision.

  • Male employee means an employed male who is caring for a child borne of his spouse or a child placed with the employee for adoption purposes.

  • Permanent Employees means all employees who are not casual employees, or employees working in a long-term supply assignment, as defined below.

  • Prospective employee means an assessed individual who is anticipated to be hired upon completion of training.
