EMC Service Area definition

EMC Service Area means the area that is within (i) one hundred (100) drivable miles of an EMC service location; and (ii) the same country as the EMC service location.

Examples of EMC Service Area in a sentence

  • Except to the extent that Support Services are independent of the Equipment’s location, EMC will have no obligation to provide Support Services with respect to Equipment that is outside the EMC Service Area.

  • Except to the extent that EMC furnished Support is independent of the Equipment’s location, EMC shall have no obligation to provide any installation, on-site services, warranty, Support services or to offer any post-warranty support to End Users located outside an EMC Service Area notwithstanding anything to the contrary.

  • Customer shall also pay supplementary amounts (surcharges and/or time and materials charges) invoiced by EMC for EMC’s performance of (a) service calls outside of an EMC Service Area; (b) refurbishment services; (c) installation of Products designated by EMC as customer installable; (d) installation or configuration of Application Software or Enhanced Feature Software provided under this Exhibit; and/or (e) configuration changes.

  • When EMC determines that the request requires an on-site response, EMC shall use its best efforts to arrive at the Installation Site (if located within an EMC Service Area) within the time period stated in the Product Notice for the service level selected by Customer after EMC makes such determination.

  • Except for those Products which EMC indicates in its published specifications and/or Product Notice as “customer installable”, Buyer shall offer to provide installation services for the Products (as described in this Section 2.1 and Section 2.3 below) to End Users or subcontract these services to EMC, if agreed to by EMC and located within an EMC Service Area.


More Definitions of EMC Service Area

EMC Service Area means a location that is within (i) a one hundred (100) mile radius of an EMC service location; and (ii) the country in which the Installation Site is located.

  • Service Area means the geographic area approved by the commissioner within which an issuer is authorized to offer a Medicare Select policy.

  • Contracted Services means medical services, nursing services, health-related services, ancillary services, or environmental services provided according to a documented agreement between a health care institution and the person providing the medical services, nursing services, health-related services, ancillary services, or environmental services.

  • Covered Building Service Employee means any person performing building service work for a Covered Building Service Employer, either directly or through a contract or subcontract.
