Data Privacy Requirements definition

Data Privacy Requirements means Applicable Laws and guidelines pertaining to privacy such as the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, Card Association bylaws, operating regulations and rules related to data security, data integrity and the safeguarding of Cardholder Information including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“ PCI"), MasterCard ’s Site Data Protection Program (“ SDP"), Visa’ s Account Information Security Program (“ AIS"), INTERAC requirements and such other reasonable requirements provided by Processor from time to time.
Data Privacy Requirements has the meaning set forth in Section 5.12(g).

Examples of Data Privacy Requirements in a sentence

  • Merchant may not store in any system or in any manner Card read data, including without limitation CVV2/CVC2 data, PIN data, address verification data or any other information prohibited by Card Association Rules and/or Data Privacy Requirements.

  • Merchant will cause all of its Representatives to comply with the Data Privacy Requirements at all times.

  • To help accomplish the foregoing, Merchant and its Representatives will encrypt, at appropriate standards required by the Data Privacy Requirements, all debit, credit or stored value card numbers whether in storage, transport or backup and will not store data security codes on its systems, network or software.

More Definitions of Data Privacy Requirements

Data Privacy Requirements has the meaning specified in Section 4.25(b).
Data Privacy Requirements means all Legal Requirements, Contractual Obligations, self-regulatory standards to which the Group Companies (individually or together) are subject (such as, if applicable, the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards), or publicly facing privacy notices, in each case that are applicable to a Group Company and relate to privacy, security, breach, data protection or Processing of Personal Information, including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), the Federal Trade Commission Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and similar state statutes such as the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act as amended by CS/SB 1120, state data security laws, state unfair or deceptive trade practices laws, and state data breach notification laws.
Data Privacy Requirements shall have the meaning set for in section 6.2. "Documentation" means FroogalPay user guides, supporting and promotional materials, technical data and any other documentation or material, on whatever media, related to the FroogalPay Solution.
