Data Protection Regulation definition

Data Protection Regulation means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 20161 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation);
Data Protection Regulation means any and all data protection and privacy laws, rules and regulations of the EU and other applicable national data protection legislation and regulation in force and as amended from time to time applicable to the processing of personal data under this DPA, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation "GDPR" (2016/679/EU), the Privacy and Electronic Communication Directive 2002/58/EC, and all national legislation implementing or supplementing the foregoing and all associated instructions and binding orders issued by any applicable data protection authority.
