China Connect Authority means any one of them. China Connect Market means a stock market in the PRC acceptable to SEHK and included in the list of China Connect Markets which are eligible for China Stock Connect trading, which includes the SSE, SZSE and such other stock market(s) which CMSHK may otherwise notify the Customer from time to time. China Connect Rules means any laws, rules, regulations, policies or guidelines published or applied by any China Connect Authority from time to time in respect of China Stock Connect or any activities arising from China Stock Connect.

  • You must also disclose any substantial change in your holding as required by the relevant China Connect Authority.

  • However, as the China Connect Securities traded through China Connect are not listed or traded on the SEHK, the Client Securities Rules will not apply unless otherwise specified by the SFC or any other relevant China Connect Authority.

  • In addition to the above, you authorise us to sell, transfer or carry out any other action in relation to China Connect Securities owned by you if we are instructed to do so by any China Connect Authority or if we otherwise determine in our absolute discretion that it is necessary or desirable to do so in order to comply with any China Connect Laws or China Connect Rules.

  • If you hold or control shares on an aggregate basis in a Mainland China Listco above a certain threshold, you may have to disclose such interest within the period specified by the relevant China Connect Authority, and you must not buy or sell any such shares within a specified period.

  • Under PRC laws, rules and regulations, the "short swing profit rule" requires the Customer to give up/return any profits made from purchases and sales in respect of China Connect Securities of a particular PRC Listco if (a) the Customer's shareholding in such PRC Listco exceeds the threshold prescribed by the relevant China Connect Authority from time to time and (b) the corresponding sale transaction occurs within the six months after a purchase transaction, or vice versa.

  • Neither the Bank nor any Related Person shall have any liability for any losses or risks incurred or suffered, directly or indirectly, by the Customer arising out of or resulting from such refusal by the Bank or rejection by any China Connect Authority.

  • You acknowledge and consent to us or any Related Person providing information relating to you and your profile, including the type and value of Northbound buy and sell orders and transactions executed on your behalf to a China Connect Authority at such intervals and in such form as such China Connect Authority may specify from time to time including in relation to an investigation or surveillance by a China Connect Authority.

Related to China Connect Authority

  • Host Authority means the local authority appointed by the Parties under these arrangements to lead on a specified matter or function as set out in paragraphs 14 and 19.

  • Port Authority means the port authority to be created pursuant to subclause (1) of Clause 13;

  • Contract Authority means the Board of Supervisors or the head of the department or agency presenting the proposed contract to the Board of Supervisors.

  • Airport Authority means any city or any public or private board or other body or organization chartered or otherwise established for the purpose of administering, operating or managing airports or related facilities, which in each case is an owner, administrator, operator or manager of one or more airports or related facilities.

  • Contracting Authority means any contracting authority as defined in Regulation 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.

  • Competent Authority and ‘Appellate Authority’ shall mean the following:

  • Water Authority means the body corporate known as the Water Authority of Western Australia established by the Water Authority Xxx 0000;

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Program authority or "VSMP authority" means an authority approved by the State Board after September 13, 2011, to operate a Virginia Stormwater Management Program.

  • Government Authorities means, without limitation, all Government departments and agencies with responsibility for the import and export of goods, the collection of revenue on the import and export of goods and the transport of those goods to include, without limitation, Customs, AQIS, the ATO and the RSA;

  • Football Authority means each of the Premier League, The Football League, The Football Association, The Football Association of Wales, FIFA, UEFA and other relevant governing body of association football.

  • Franchising Authority means any Governmental Authority authorized by any federal, state or local law to grant a Franchise or to exercise jurisdiction over the rates or services provided by a cable television system pursuant to a Franchise or over Persons holding a Franchise.

  • Management Authority means a national management authority designated in accordance with Article IX;

  • Planning Authority means the responsible entity that coordinates and integrates transmission facility and service plans, resource plans, and protection systems.

  • Regional authority means the Director General of Foreign Trade appointed under section 6 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (22 of 1992) or an officer authorised by him to grant an authorisation including a duty credit scrip under the said Act.

  • Governmental Authority(ies) means any federal, state or local government, and political subdivision(s) thereof, and any entity(ies) exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions having or pertaining to government.

  • Aeronautical authorities means, in the case of the People’s Republic of China, the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, and, in the case of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministry of Communications, or in the case of either of the Contracting Parties, any person or body authorized to perform any functions exercised by the said authorities.
