Government Authorities definition

Government Authorities means, without limitation, all Government departments and agencies with responsibility for the import and export of goods, the collection of revenue on the import and export of goods and the transport of those goods to include, without limitation, Customs, AQIS, the ATO and the RSA;
Government Authorities means any or all governmental authority / authorities of India or any subdivision thereof, whether national, federal, provincial, regional,state, county, municipal, local or other and any ministry, department, agency, entity or other body duly exercising executive, legislative, regulatory or administrative functions of government, including any other body which may exercise similar and any other municipal/ local authority having jurisdiction over the parties herein, and shall include any authority established through a statute or an act of the Government of India;
Government Authorities means any and all jurisdictions, entities, courts, boards, agencies, commissions, offices, divisions, subdivisions, departments, bodies or authorities of any nature whatsoever of any governmental unit (federal, state, county, district, municipality, city or otherwise), whether now or hereafter in existence.

More Definitions of Government Authorities

Government Authorities means executive, legislative, judicial, administrative or regulatory bodies of the State of New York or the United States of America, and the termGovernment Approval” means any consent, approval, license, authorization or validation of, or filing, recording or registration with, any Governmental Authority pursuant to Applicable Laws. However, such opinion need not address (i) any statute, regulation or provision of law of any county, municipality or other political subdivision or any agency or instrumentality thereof, (ii) the tax laws, “doing business” laws or securities laws of any jurisdiction or (iii) any law, rule or regulation to which either Ladder Party may be subject as a result of any other person’s or entity’s legal or regulatory status or any such other person’s or entity’s involvement in the transactions contemplated by the Ladder Agreements.
