Authorized Interim Investments definition

Authorized Interim Investments means such investments that are “qualified investments” for a trust governed by a “registered retirement savings plan”, “registered education savings plan”, “tax-free savings account” or “registered retirement income fund” as those terms are defined in subsection 146(1) of the Tax Act, and may include shares, bonds, debentures, income trust units, notes, marketable securities and cash, among other things;
Authorized Interim Investments means cash and guaranteed investment certificates;
Authorized Interim Investments means: (i) deposits standing to the credit of a person in the records of a bank or other entity any of whose deposits are insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation or the Régie de l'assurance-dépôts du Québec or a credit union (including investments guaranteed by the Government of Canada or of a province or territory of Canada, deposits in or receipts, deposit notes, certificates of deposits, acceptances and other similar instruments issued, endorsed or guaranteed by a Schedule I bank); and (ii) money market mutual funds and such other investments, in each case, that will not disqualify the Corporation as a MIC;

Related to Authorized Interim Investments

  • Authorized Investments means: any investment which may be authorized by the Commission but does not include restricted investments as specified in the Offering Documents from time to time.

  • Permitted Intercompany Investments means Investments made by (a) a Loan Party to or in another Loan Party, (b) a Subsidiary that is not a Loan Party to or in another Subsidiary that is not a Loan Party, (c) a Subsidiary that is not a Loan Party to or in a Loan Party, so long as, in the case of a loan or advance, the parties thereto are party to the Intercompany Subordination Agreement, and (d) a Loan Party to or in a Subsidiary that is not a Loan Party so long as (i) the aggregate amount of all such Investments made by the Loan Parties to or in Subsidiaries that are not Loan Parties does not exceed $1,000,000 at any time outstanding, (ii) no Default or Event of Default has occurred and is continuing either before or after giving effect to such Investment, and (iii) the Borrowers have Excess Availability plus Qualified Cash of not less than $10,000,000 after giving effect to such Investment.

  • Investment Accounts means the Collateral Account, Securities Accounts, Commodities Accounts and Deposit Accounts.

  • Other Investments means assets which are not Direct Investments or Underlying Funds.

  • Liquidity Account Investments means Deposit Securities or any other security or investment owned by the Fund that is rated not less than A3 by Moody’s, A- by Standard & Poor’s, A- by Fitch or an equivalent rating by any other NRSRO (or any such rating’s future equivalent).

  • Investment Account As defined in Section 3.12(a).

  • Funding Agreements means all or any of the agreements or instruments to be entered into by a Project Service Provider or any of their Associates relating to the financing of its business of providing services pursuant to the terms of any Project Agreements, excluding always the Project Agreements themselves;

  • Permitted Existing Investments means the Investments of the Borrower and its Subsidiaries identified as such on Schedule 1.1.2 to this Agreement.

  • Investment Agreements or “Flow-Through Agreements” means written agreements pursuant to which the Partnership will subscribe for Flow-Through Shares (including Flow-Through Shares issued as part of a unit) or agreements by the Partnership to otherwise invest in or purchase securities of a Resource Issuer, and in respect of Flow-Through Shares comprised of units, the Resource Issuer will covenant and agree:

  • Permitted Intercompany Advances means loans made by (a) a Loan Party to another Loan Party, (b) a Subsidiary of a Borrower that is not a Loan Party to another Subsidiary of a Borrower that is not a Loan Party and (c) a Subsidiary of a Borrower that is not a Loan Party to a Loan Party, so long as the parties thereto are party to the Intercompany Subordination Agreement.

  • Alternative Investments means investments in the said State which are within the ability and competence of the Company or of corporations which are related to the Company for the purposes of the Companies (Western Australia) Code and which are approved by the Minister from time to time as alternative investments for the purpose of this Agreement (which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld in the case of an investment which would add value or facilitate the addition of value, beyond mining, to the mineral resources of the said State);”;

  • Principal Funding Investment Proceeds means, with respect to each Transfer Date, the investment earnings on funds in the Principal Funding Account (net of investment expenses and losses) for the period from and including the immediately preceding Transfer Date to but excluding such Transfer Date.

  • Approved Investment means any type of security, instrument, participation or interest in property, as set forth on Schedule I hereto (which may be amended from time to time by execution of a revised Schedule I, I-A or I-B) in which Cash Collateral may be invested or reinvested by Bank in accordance with Paragraph 2 of Article IV hereof.

  • Mezzanine Investments means debt Securities (including convertible debt Securities (other than the “in-the-money” equity component thereof)) and Preferred Stock in each case (a) issued by public or private issuers, (b) issued without registration under the Securities Act, (c) not issued pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act (or any successor provision thereunder), (d) that are not Cash Equivalents and (e) contractually subordinated in right of payment to other debt of the same issuer.

  • PIPE Investment has the meaning specified in the Recitals hereto.

  • Authorized Bank Account means any Officially Designated bank account to which redemption proceeds may be sent.

  • Investments as defined in Section 7.8.

  • Funding Accounts has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 4.01(h).

  • Prior Period Investments means investments made in a previous evaluation period that are outstanding as of the examination date.

  • Eligible Investments Any one or more of the obligations and securities listed below which investment provides for a date of maturity not later than the Determination Date in each month:

  • Project Accounts means the accounts referred to in Section 3.03 (a) of this Agreement;

  • Purchaser’s Account The account of the Purchaser at a bank or other entity most recently designated in a written notice by the Purchaser to the Sellers as the "Purchaser's Account."
