American Depositary Receipt(s) definition

American Depositary Receipt(s). “ADR(s)” and “Receipt(s)” shall mean the certificate(s) issued by the Depositary to evidence the American Depositary Shares issued under the terms of the Deposit Agreement in the form of Certificated ADS(s) (as hereinafter defined), as such ADRs may be amended from time to time in accordance with the provisions of the Deposit Agreement. An ADR may evidence any number of ADSs and may, in the case of ADSs held through a central depository such as DTC, be in the form of a “Balance Certificate.”
American Depositary Receipt(s). “ADR(s)” and “Receipt(s)” shall mean the certificate(s) issued by the Depositary to evidence the American Depositary Shares issued under the terms of the Deposit Agreement in the form of Certificated ADS(s) (as hereinafter defined), as such ADRs may be amended from time to time in accordance with the provisions of the Deposit Agreement. American Depositary Receipt(s) or "ADR" means any Security specified as such in the relevant Pricing Supplement provided that if the relevant Deposit Agreement is terminated at any time, any reference to any ADR(s) shall thereafter be construed as a reference to the relevant Underlying Securities and the Calculation Agent will make such adjustment as it determines to be appropriate to the relevant Notes and determine the effective date of such adjustment;
American Depositary Receipt(s) means the certificates issued by the Depositary evidencing the American Depositary Shares.
American Depositary Receipt(s) means negotiable United States security that represents a non-United States company’s publicly traded equity.
