Your Work. We may promote our products and services, including the Course(s) using the work you completed as part of completing a Course (“Student Work”) and you grant us a nonexclusive license to use your name in combination with your Student Work in any and all media in connection with our promotional efforts. Our use will be limited to promoting our products and services. We will include your name and attribute the Student Work to you. You may contact us at any time to remove or de-identify any image of you. You acknowledge that if we use your work for promotional efforts, you will not be compensated.

  • Summer Work a. This section shall apply only to those employees hired to fill temporary summer positions.

  • Completion of Work Contractor is accountable for completing the Work within the Contract Time stated in the Contract, or as otherwise amended by Change Order.

  • OF WORK An employee shall not be required to work more than seven and one-half (7 hours within an eight (8) hour period after commencing work. The Hospital will endeavour to achieve the following objectives in the formulation of working schedules although the Union recognizes that it is not always possible to meet these objectives: Employees will not be scheduled to work more than seven (7) consecutive days. Except in those areas where the parties agree otherwise, no less than sixteen (16) consecutive hours shall be scheduled off between shift change without consent. Except in those areas where the parties agree otherwise, to schedule at least one (1) weekend off in three (3) and, where the weekend is granted on the fourth weekend, time worked shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 the employee’s regular rate of pay for any time worked on such weekend. Except in those areas where the parties agree otherwise, if seven (7) days are worked, in a row, without time off, then the employee's two (2) days off will be consecutive. Where practicable, employees' work schedule shall be posted two (2) weeks in advance of the schedule becoming effective. Rest periods may be taken as one thirty (30) minute break, provided mutual agreement has been reached between the employee's ordinator and the employee, and furthermore provided such thirty (30) minute breaks are not taken at the commencement of shift or immediately preceding the end of shift, nor in conjunction with the employee's lunch break. The Hospital reserves the right to revoke such arrangement at any time. Where the Hospital requires employees to sign in and out, will do so as prescribed by the department upon arrival at and departure from work. The requirement to sign in and out will be applied to bargaining unit employees on department wide basis. If a department elects to introduce a sign in and sign out requirement for bargaining unit employees, the Union will be advised in Staff Planning prior to the introduction of the requirement. ARTICLE The Hospital will endeavour to distribute overtime on an equitable basis, subject to availability. ARTICLE ALLOWANCES Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per year, effective November in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year. When a xxxxxxx is required by the Hospital to travel between sites to attend meetings involving management and union representation, the xxxxxxx shall be compensated in accordance with Article The union xxxxxxx will keep records providing date, distance travelled and purpose of travel and submit to manager using the Hospital's travel expense form.

  • THE WORK The Work comprises the completed construction required by the Contract Documents and includes all labor necessary to produce such construction, and all materials and equipment incorporated or to be incorporated in such construction.

  • Scope of Work For the 2022/2023 Grant Period, the Provider will maintain a victim services program that will be available to provide direct services to victims of crime who are identified by the Provider or are presented to the Provider, as specified in the Provider’s 2022/2023 Grant Application as approved by the OAG and incorporated herein by reference.

  • Shift Work Shift work is work not in excess of ordinary hours (ie 38 hours per week), but carried out wholly or partly between the hours of 7.00pm and 7.00am, Monday to Friday. Shift work is work scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the shift. Employees required to work shift work will be paid at time and one quarter of the ordinary rate per hour for ordinary hours worked.

  • Commencement and Completion of Work Upon the Effective Date of the Contract, bidder agrees to commence all Preconstruction Activities. Upon issuance of a Proceed Order, bidder agrees to commence physical activities on the Site with adequate forces and equipment and to complete to Material Completion all work in 90 consecutive calendar days beginning the day after the date of the Proceed Order. Bid Bond. Enclosed herewith is a Bid Bond (NO OTHER FORM ACCEPTABLE) in the amount of Dollars ($ ) (being not less than five percent of the Bid). Under oath I certify that I am a principal or other representative of the bidder, and that I am authorized by it to execute the foregoing bid on its behalf; and further, that I am a principal person of the bidder with management responsibility for the construction for the bidder, and as such I am personally knowledgeable of all its pertinent matters. I further certify that this bid is made without prior understanding, agreement, or connection with any corporation, firm, or person submitting a bid for the same services, materials, labor, supplies, or equipment and is in all respects fair and without collusion or fraud. Bidder and its principals understand that collusive bidding is a violation of state and federal law and can result in fines, prison sentences, and civil damage awards.
