WORKERS’ COMPENSATION AND DISABILITY LEAVE. Section 1 Any employee necessarily absent due to an occupational injury or disease as defined by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Law may at his/her discretion draw his/her accumulated sick leave or any other leave benefits.

WORKERS’ COMPENSATION AND DISABILITY LEAVE. A. Workers’ compensation issues shall be administered in accordance with the provisions of 21 VSA Chapter 9 and any applicable state laws or regulations promulgated thereto.
WORKERS’ COMPENSATION AND DISABILITY LEAVE. All Prince George’s County Public School employees are covered by the State Worker’s Compensation Act which provides for the payment of reasonable medical cost resulting from an accident incurred during the course of work. In addition, should the injured employee lose time from work due to an on-­the-­job injury, he or she may under the present coverage apply for Worker’s Compensation pay for lost time beginning with the fourth day of absence after the injury.

These requirements apply to both original contracts and renewals. Failure to provide proper proof of such coverage or a legal exemption will result in a rejection of any contract renewal. Proof of workers’ compensation and disability benefits coverage, or proof of exemption must be submitted to OGS at the time of policy renewal, contract renewal and upon request. Proof of compliance must be submitted on one of the following forms designated by the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. The cost of SDI will be paid by the employee through payroll deduction at a rate established by the State of California Employment Development Department.

  • INSURANCE AND RETIREMENT Each teacher shall be entitled to fringe benefits provided by this agreement and by federal regulations provided by Cobra (Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985). These shall include but not be limited to the following:
